I am responding to the complaint regarding Colby Management Inc.Here is a time line for the roof problemWe reported the roof leak in April to Colby ManagementThe representative from Colby Management responded seven months later in November that a repair person from *** *** came to our property and nailed the flashing and repaired the leakColby Management representative says no correspondence about the leak since My brother and I don't live in ArizonaDuring our annual visit in April we witnessed no rainWe believed the roof was repairedThe problem in not fixedWe saw two roof leaks on the evening of May and morning of May 9, The original leak and a new oneWe called to report the leaksWe want proof that the roof leaks have been repairedIt is interesting that when the rep responded to me through a personal email that she put our property on the top of the list for repairs when one week prior on the phone she said her hands were tied because of the HOA BoardFiling the compliant seems to have caused Colby to take responsibility for the problem.Thank you Arizona Revdex.com

when the leak was reported in 2015, a roofer was sent out to repair the roof.  The association is not responsible for the gutters.  We show no record of any other correspondence regarding the roof still leaking.  We will reach out to the owner and set up a time to send someone to...

repair any roof and soffit damage.  We do not cover the gutters.

Bought my house in October. After receiving no Welcome Packet by April, it dawned on us that we hadn't received our pool keys. I emailed [redacted] respectfully. He responded immediately and said both would be sent right away.
- We immediately received our dues owed (bills), but recieved no welcome packe or keys... how telling that would become...
- In March I emailed again, frustrated that I received a bill with no welcome packet or keys, but privately addressed the matter to respect the mistake...
- [redacted] response, was sarcastic and dismissive, but he did promise to send it that afternoon.
- Come JUNE, I still do not have the key or welcome packet.
- Instead I've got a disgruntled business owner who is mad at me, because of his own defficiencies and lack of follow up.

Colby Management is a vendor for the HOA.  We make no decisions regarding timing of repairs or other issues regarding the property.  Our job is to take issues to the Board and act on their direction.  The Board agreed to schedule the repair to her home when we were notified there was still a problem.

Re: Complaint# [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,"fWe are in receipt of the complaint from Scott Hudson regarding his HOA fees. Mr. [redacted] is mailing hispayments, along with the coupons provided to a secure lockbox directly at Mutual of Omaha Bank. Payments received are deposited daily into the...

association bank account, and each evening a file is transmitted electronically to our office. We do not handle any of the checks that Mr. Hudson mails.Per Northpointe HOA, payments are due the first of each month, and considered late if received after the 15th of each month. The November payment was dated 11/27/16, and posted at the bank on 11/30/16. The January payment was dated 1/8/17, and deposited 1/19/17. The February payment was dated 2/11/17, and deposited 2/21/17. All of the payments were received after the  15th, we cannot control the timing of mail delivery . We suggest that he allow more time for mailing, or sign up for the surepay program which electronically deducts the assessment from his account monthly, therefore avoiding the mail time.Keep in mind, we are only the accounting firm for Northpointe HOA, and therefore have no authority to waive late fees per his request. We have requested a waiver on his behalf; however the Association has denied his request, due to the history of late payments, and the previous allowances they have made.We request you close this complaint, as again, we do not receive the payments at our office or have the authority to waive the late fees. I am including his payment ledger and copies of the checks/coupons. Please let me know if you need any additional information .

Warning: This management company needs to be replaced. I have had 2 increases with in the first year I moved in. Yet I've called [redacted] our association manager 4 times for work orders. 1 has been fullfilled. As a disabled homeowner she asked me to mark off the water leak we had out here. We are watering nothing. Although [redacted] tells us we have grass. When I walk out the door all I see is rock. Our landscapers have never fixed this issue. My sons n law came out to shut the water off. Don't understand why I pay a HOA fee when nothing gets done around here. Do have the last 2 calls taped of [redacted] & I phone conversation. Plus I have lots of video of us paying unnecessary water bills due to watering things that aren't even there. The women is nothing nice. Rude & she loves to argue with people and making excuses for their poor management.Thinking our best bet is to sell our condo & move to where the management cares about their homeowners.
