Review: My name is [redacted] and I had seen flyers around my neighborhood saying that Colby does home repairs. I took down the number and called him. He gave me a price of $650 to fix the shutters and a few othe4r things. He sent two men out to work on the house they did not do a good job at all. I would not let them fix a dog house for me. The shutters they put up are missing a screw and it shakes. I am tired of constantly calling Colby for things they didn't do or just didn't care after he got the money. He is putting other jobs ahead of mine which I feel its not fair, he is all about money not pleasing his customers. If his workers would have done it right the first time it would not be this issue. He defends his men when they are wrong and he wasn't even their. He should have supervised their work once it was completed and made sure that I was happy. I think they scratched a car in the driveway with their ladder. I feel that I deserve a partial refund after all they did a partial job.Desired Settlement: I am going to post on every sign I see and tell people DONT DO IT! I am going to tell them my story. Im thinking about putting a AD in journal because after I have freedom of speech.

Review: january of 2015 I contacted colby home repairs about getting a estimate on installing guttter work. the commercials,website, an reviews seemed great. moving foward, he came out looked at it said all can be done $1150.00 check, or $1000.00 cash. at the moment I thought was kind of odd an high but I agreed with cash when job was completed. a couple weeks went by, after texting back an forth, I told him my schedule an days off. I wanted to be here at home when he was working incase something was to happen. he called me up to tell me that sunday was the only day that week he could do it. he called later that day when they were finished to say the details of what he did. some of it wasnt what we agreed to do in the beginning. he assured me all was well. said that I would like it an was sending a guy back out to touch up with paint around a small area because he didnt have enough when he was here. I said it is dark now. how is he to see painting in darkness? he said its only touch ups an shouldnt take a few minutes. after hes done you can pay him. me feeling rushed, I had to explained to his helper when he finished touch ups in dark. that all banks are closed on sunday. I had to do 5 cash back transition at local store to get the money. he never gave me receipt. the next day I looked out at our place from different angles. I would compare it to a bad restaurant, like a rude waiter, an wrong order all at one time. first of all gutter was level all the way across an 4 inches below the roof line. down spouts placed in odd place closer to center of the home, not on the ends like we talk about before. I called an texted wanting him to fix it. he did not come back out to see it. then 6 months went by. the weight of water overtime had no where to drain. the gutter came off from home. I contacted him about it. said he would charge me again to fix it. I said no. had another man finished it for me.later on colby text back said he should've done it then left me his number.. experience helps look before u payDesired Settlement: none. I lost the trust in colbys work. I had some else finish the work for me.

Review: Colby [redacted] was hired to do an underpinning job which has failed to pass inspection 4 times which has resulted in numerous penalties for me from Davidson county which I have had to pay. He never consulted with the inspector as to what the right specs were for the job and never finished the work so as to pass inspection. The wrong material was used to start with and never has been adjusted by him. The work that he did was horrible and I have had three other contractors and the inspector to confirm that it was all done wrong. The job is still unfinished and I have already paid him in full(shame on me).Desired Settlement: A partial refund of my money paid because I have hired another contractor to finish the job. I DO NOT want him to do anything else to the job because he has proved he cannot do it right and I do not want to have to pay another penalty because he says it is complete with a promise?
