In August of 2014 I went into the store and requested to purchase a "NEW" [redacted]. I was told that there was a "NEW" [redacted] in the other location. If I would like to wait for it, the man could have it brought over from the other location. The price was $549.00 plus taxes (I could be off by a dollar or two) then the plan was separate, activation fees etc. Today 3/17/2015 I am working for a cellular company who checked my phone and informed me that my phone is from 2012. I was sold a used phone. I called CollCell who confirmed this and said that it was infact "REFURBISHED". I told him it was sold as a New phone, he said he could offer me a discount on another phone to compensate. I refused. I am seeking a refund for being lied to and taken for granted. This phone would have cost me in the range of 275.00 as a used [redacted] in august of 2014 as opposed to 549.00 plus taxes and fees it was over 600 in total. Unless specifically priced and advertised. We are willing to offer a special discount to this customer on a new device and/or buy back the device at fair market value. We look forward to resolving this misunderstanding.
