Review: On Sept.11 we called above company for a service call to our walk in refrig. , not working, one month before they had already serviced the box and added free on noww we have the same problem again they send out a tech and he brazed my unit and within ours we lost all our products and unit not working again, lost thousands of dollars of inventory , due to them completing job and over night what they performed was very bad work . I had another company come in ad they nooticed who ever did the work was so poor they damaged my entire coil and need to replace the whole unit. I had paid coldstt the first time they came last month , now a month latter there horrible work caused me to pay another company for work the did and damamged my entire unit, they charged my credit card 700.00 without my authorizatin, they should also be liable for all my lost inventory and the cost to replace my unit, due to amateur work they performed, we have pictures of their damage they caused to our unit from over brazing and burning my unit(A?C UNINIT) and a paid invoice from another vender who had to clean their mess up.Desired Settlement: I would like to to pay for the damages they did to my unit to replace my loss of inventory.

Please be advise that the client [redacted], was well aware of the charges that would occur when he asked us for an hour service call on 9/1 0/2013. We were asked to service the walk-in cooler at [redacted], when our technician arrived he found a large leak in the condenser coil. Our technician was able to repair the condenser coil and the walk-in cooler was coming down to temperature when he was leaving.

[redacted] had called earlier that day to place a service call for the walk-in cooler because the drain pan was overflowing. We were on site on 8/12/2013 for this same problem, and we where dispatching a tech on 9/ 11/2013 to resolve the drain pan/drainage problem. I, Vicki Swans. personally took his call and while on the phone with [redacted] took the information and placed a service call for him for 9/11/2013, since it was a water leak/water build up in drain pan it could wait until the next day. At no time while [redacted] and l were on the phone with him on 9/10/2013 @ 1:30:20pm did he state the walk-in cooler was running warm.

He did call our answering service after hours and noted to them he was on the schedule for 9/1 1/2013 but could not wait since the walk-in was getting warm and he was “about to lose his load" which means his product in the cooler.

On 9/11/2013 we did have a technician return to the above location: and our tech found that the repair that was done the prior night did not hold and the condenser coil needs to be replaced to repair the unit correctly. NOTE: we did not charge this client for the return call on 9/1 1/2013, which was 2 more hours on site.

I would like for you to note that Mr. [redacted] is currently disputing the charge through AMEX merchant services (please see attached letter written to AMEX Merchant Services Dispute Dept). What may not be clear from the information you received from Mr. [redacted] is that he gave us authorization to charge his AMEX card, each and every time a technician performs service, when he signed our new customer form (see attached customer form). Also, be aware that every time we made a service call to his location we charged his card (3) other times (I can provide dates and amounts if necessary.) We also had been out to his location back in November 2012 and quoted him new condensing units. ( I can provide the quote that was done and not accepted back then if necessary)

Also, please note that on our “New Customer Form” it is clearly stated that we are not responsible for any loss of product as a result of equipment failure. And by signing our new customer form that the client is authorizing Coldstat to charge the credit card for services rendered.

We did give [redacted] a price on replacing the condenser coil, but he did not like the price and the timing of the replacement. He did not accept our quote, not in 2012 or in 2013.

Review: Hello,

We have service done on Ice machine by Coldstat technician at our [redacted]. The purpose of the repair was that the ice was not falling in it proper form and sensor was broken. The repair was done and the ice started falling in proper form for one or two days. After that the ice started falling in big slabs occassionally, means that ice was falling in proper form for few cylces and then at one cycle it fall in big slab form. Now the frequency of the ice falling in slab has increased. As the invoice of above repair states that there was 30 days warranty on service and part so we decided to call coldstat office to notify and file the problem . But to our surprise we were told that the above problem is not covered in warranty and if technician visit our store for visit we will be charged. I think if the ice is not falling prorperly from machine it should mean that machine is not working properly. The person from coldstat was not able give legimatic reason as why above problem was not covered in warranty. I tried to call owner of company and kept voice mail on phone but to my surprise there was no reply. I think the owner does not bother about any customer service. As on your website I saw that you have given A+ rating this company, I decided to contact your office and file a complain against ColdStat. I strongly believe that the way they provided us service and person from Coldstat talk to me on phone, this company should not be give A+ rating. If you need pictures of ice slab falling from ice machine please let me know.Desired Settlement: I would like ColdStat to repair my machine free of cost or otherwise they refund my all money ($512.15) which they charge me during their previous visit.

Review: We Haired coldstat to fix a 5-Door refrigerator. They proposed parts and labor work totaling around $900. We agreed to work and they performed it. Only to find the unit broke again after 2 day. We contacted Coldtat again and they came again this time they charge even more to our credit card on file. many questionable charges and redundant steps. in Addition, the unit was still not working. when I protested the charges they give us $200 discount but insisted we need more parts and labor. this process was repeated 4-5 times in the course of 3 month and a total of over $6000 in cost. The unit still not operational and we incurred loss of business in addition to spiled products like milk and soda. the unit is completely not working and coldstat demands more money and parts to fix it. at this point I dont trust their process and quation their practices.Desired Settlement: I would like Coldstat to send a one person who is trained to fix the issue, complete the repair and refund charge for failed or incomplete repairs and also compensate us for products lost
