JTD ROOFING which is a part of Goldstream exteriors contacted me last October to replace my roofing if found damaged from weather elements and collect from my insurance. I agreed and they found damages and they replaced my roof. with a warrant for at least a year. This summer I saw some water leakage from my roof into garage wall. I called them in july/august but nobody calle me back . I called them again later on and spoke to John who is the owner along with his brother Ben. They claimed they called be back and I did not answer and they did not leave me a message. I called them again 2 weeks ago, and I spoke to John and Ben. John send a guy named Jonathan to see it and he found out what is the problem and said should have fixed long time ago because it was affecting my garage wall inside and damaging mu new painted garage. Anyhow, I called them again a few days ago to see when they are going to fix it. Today, I got a call from Ben who is one of the owners and asked me to pay $1850.00 to fix something that was done incorrectly and uncompleted from the beginning. They refuse. They are crooks and people should not do business with them .
Mr. filed a claim with *** and sent us the insurance documents showing what *** was paying for. The documents specified that *** was paying for a roof replacement without new flashing on areas other than the chimney and pipes. We followed the claim instructions, provided a quote to did exactly what was specified by ***. The leaking came from flashing that *** deemed not in need of repair and we had no reason to believe the area would leak in the near future as client did not mention leaking prior. We did exactly what both Mr. and *** asked of us and now Mr. wants us to go back and do work that was not part of the original claim for free with no compensation. We have given him a price to take care of the issue and can start the work this week. I have attached the insurance documents confirming my statement. The roofing company wants me to pay $600.00 so they can fix the problem. The roofing company decided not to do it at the first time and ignore it to save the money and the labor hoping nothing will happen. Well, it did happen and they have to fix it free of charge and correctly done.
I highly recommend Coldstream Exteriors. Keep up he incredible work!
