Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage - Stamford Office

I was recently hired by a company in Stamford had had to move quickly. I hired Chris M *** Coldwell Banker *** to help me find a place. I made a trip down on Jan 8th 2020 to look at apartments in ***. I found two I liked and put in offers for both apartments in the same building. On Jan 13th another, smaller apartment on the 15th floor became available and Chris showed me pictures of the apartment and listing value on the Coldwell Banker website. I asked him if the pictures were accurate to the listing and he said there is no reason they should not be and I could down an offer if I wanted to. I put down an offer and moved in on Jan 20th 2020. However upon move in I realized that the apartment was not accurate to the listing. In the pictures, they did not show a giant pillar in the bedroom. In fact, the pictures listed on the site do not have a picture of the bedroom at all. I contacted Coldwell Banker and spoke to the managing broker about the issue and she said there was nothing she could do and that is was my fault for not viewing the apartment in person. Should not the pictures of the apartment be accurate to the actual listing? This company is guilty of false advertising. Since I have already signed a lease I am not even able to move out. All consumers out there need to be aware of how this company operates.
