Coldwell Banker Residential Mortgage

Review: I paid an addition $5,000 towards my mortgage principle on 2/3/15, which Coldwell Banker drafted from my checking account that day. When I looked at my account online on 2/4/15, it showed that part of the payment was incorrectly applied towards my March payment. I called customer service that day (2/4/15) and they told me that they would work correct the error, but that it would take 5-7 days to show up on my account. I thought this was strange since my regular payment shows online the same day. Regardless, I checked my account daily and saw it was not corrected. I waited the until the following week to recontact them 2/11/15. This customer service rep told me that the original rep screwed up the reversal, but had corrected the mistake on 2/6/15. She assured me that this correction made on 2/6/15 would show up on my account by 2/17 (7 business days from 2/6). I checked today 2/18/15 and still no correction. I called and escalated to a manager who told me that he would need at least 48 hours to resolve.

At this point my mortgage balance does not reflect the $5K paid and pulled from my account on 2/3. Nowhere on the account information can you see where my payment was applied and where the balance (even if it is being applied to future payments). I have no faith that the money will be correctly applied to my mortgage principle and further more that the escrow I am paying into each moth is also being applied correctly.

Customer service has not been able to tell me where the money has been applied or to give me an accurate timeline of when the issue will be resolved. I have spent over two hours on the phone between the 3 phone calls to customer service with no resolution. With next month's payment on the horizon, I fear that too will be horrendously screwed up.Desired Settlement: My hands are tied to this company. I have no choice, save refinancing, but to deal with them.

I want a detailed accounting of my payments and an amortization table of the balance due and payments. I want confirmation that I will not be charge interest on the $5K that should have been applied to principle. I want detailed confirmation that they are actually applying my escrow $ to the right taxing and insurance authorities.
