I took my vehicle in for maintenance and some issues while under warrantyThey fixed one problem then have been denying and stalling the other issues with my car that are supposed to be covered under my warrantyThe warranty expires soon and while they keep flooding my email with extended warranty offers for extra $ they refuse to fix the existing issues! Why the hell would anyone pay extra for an extended warranty when you won't honor the original now? This is shysterville at it's worst!!! They clearly do not want to honor the warranty

Review: I am writing to file a complaint against Cole Chrysler in San Luis Obispo CA. I recently was interested in purchasing a vehicle through this dealership. I was dealing with a sales rep by the name of Tyler, he took my online application and after completing the form through there website I called Tyler to only run my credit through Chrysler and to not send it to any other banks. He assured me that they would only run my credit once, so I took his word. After reading some bad reviews about the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, I decided not to purchase the vehicle. A week after submitting my application I started receiving bank denials from multiple banks in regards to my application. My credit was sent to 8 banks and credit unions. I was extremely upset. I called Tyler and asked my they ran my credit more than once and he didn't not have an explanation. He blamed the sales manager, I spoke to the sale manager and he was adamant that they only ran my credit once which was a lie because those inquiry where posting on my credit as hard inquiries from each bank. A few day later I called back and spoke to the sales manager who was extremely rude, he did not listen to my complaint and said that they could run someones credit as many times as they please. That by submitting my application I gave them permission to do so, after I requested to speak to the owner that sales manager hung up on me. I finally spoke to David Cole and he also was no help. He did not care that his team was doing unethical practices. I told him that his employes violated my rights as a consumer and that they did not respect my request to only run my credit once. Please be aware that Cole Chrysler is not here for the customer, they do not care about customer service, they just want the sale. I hope everyone is aware of the terrible customer service that they provide beginning with the owner all the way down to the employes.Desired Settlement: Im requesting to have all but the one inquiry removed from my credit. I only requested one inquiry and feel that the other inquiries that where made where without my consent. I also want to make the public aware of the practices that are being done at Cole Chrysler.

Review: While contacting Cole Mazda on April 2,2014, I spoke with a salesman who had indicated a current incentive that Mazda was offering included a $750 "Owner Loyalty" rebate. As I was in fact trading in a 2013 Mazda3, I felt well qualified to receive this to offset the tremendous loss I was taking when trading in the car I bought 1 year prior. I had also contacted the dealer in Salinas that I'd originally purchased the 2013 Mazda3 and heard the same offer. Cole Mazda was much closer, so I opted to buy/trade in, locally. I arrived the next day and made a deposit on my new 2014 Mazda3, but needed to wait a day to receive the car after they located my model. On April 4, I eagerly picked up the car, and it was on the preliminary "sales commitment" worksheet that the incentive amount was changed. I was told by the sales manager that "we read the small print and see that we can only work up the paperwork for $500 from Mazda". I was told not to worry, because they would cut me a check for the $250 once I brought in a "coupon" that Mazda had mailed out to it's customers. As I walked out the door to my new car, those were the last words he had called out to me, and I looked forward to returning for the check. The need for a coupon had not been discussed on either my initial phone call, nor on the previous day when I visited the dealer. Offsetting the tremendous loss I was taking by trading in my 2013 was an important factor when even deciding to make this purchase. At first I had not been able to find it so I called Cole Mazda to let them know I would try to get one from Mazda, speaking to the Sales Manager, as he had been the one telling me about cutting me the check. He called me a liar, telling me he had never promised me anything like that. He said it was up to the individual dealership, as they were privately owned, raising his voice several times, his final words being that I would NEVER get anything from them. Mazda customer service says it's up to Cole.I was misled and treated very rudely.Desired Settlement: Although the coupon expired on 3/31/14, the entire $750 was offered to me up until I was signing the papers, with the promise of the $250 balance when I returned. I feel this was unfair, deceptive, and should be honored. No expiration was ever discussed, and it was only after they had my deposit that the offer changed. I had only heard very good things about Cole Mazda and was very surprised by this business practice. I especially do not like the be called a liar! Shame on them.

Review: I had the PCF filter cleaned and the computer in my 2007 Dodge Big Horn needed to be flashed (updated) when I took it to Cole they said they couldn't do it and that it needed a complete new emissions system that would cost around 14,000 bucks, I took it to another mechanic and had some repairs done, a catalos converter replaced, and thats all that was wrong with it, but I stll needed it flashed so I took it back and they stated that it coded for sand in the fuel tank, which is not possible, they would not flash it so I took it back to my mechanic and they dropped the fuel tank and found no sand at all. They target people for repairs that don't need to be done. I hd to pay to have the tank dropped they should have to pay that bill not me. all that they said was wrong wasn't, they had said that I needed to trade it in for 4000. dollars on a 65,000. dollar truck.Desired Settlement: I want them to pay for the unnecessary labor that I had to pay for plus my time of having to drive 200 miles to another dodge dealer to get it flashed.

Review: I purchased a beautiful used Jeep Liberty for $12,000 cash from David Cole Crysler Dodge. At the same time I was strongly pressured by the salesman to purchase what he described as a "bumper to bumper" extended warranty for $2,200. I was told that the extended warranty would cover everything and anything which could possibly go wrong with my car. I kept my car in pristine condition and there was never any indication anything was wrong. My car passed a smog check with flying colors. Three days after the smog check, in the morning, I turned the key and there was an explosion and white smoke. I immediately called AAA and had my car towed to a trusted mechanic who examined my car and told me the head gaskets were blown and my engine destroyed. He also told me this is a common defect with Jeep Liberty vehicles and that he had seen 2 in the last 2 months. Because my car is STILL UNDER WARRANTY I had it towed to David COLE DODGE IN SAN LUIS OBISPO. The service department acknowledges that my Jeep is STIILL UNDER WARRANTY, and Tony in the service department told me I must sign a paper to "AUTHORIZE A TEAR DOWN OF THE ENGINE" so they could determine exactly what needs to be repaired. Tony assured me that this was the protocol for such warranty issues and said, "Don't worry! We'll take care of you. Your car will be repaired! " I later received a call stating that Cole would replace my blown engine with an engine from a salvage yard with 77,000 miles on it and I WOULD BE REQUIRED TO PAY 3,000 labor. When I requested a refund of $2,200 warranty so I could take my car elsewhere, David Cole demanded I pay $984 for the "engine tear down."Desired Settlement: I was told the $2,200 warranty was the best there was and would cover everything in my car. My car is still under warranty with a blown engine. Therefore I would like my blown engine replaced with a new engine as David Cole promised and my car fully repaired and returned to full working condition by [redacted] without further cost to me.

I took my vehicle in for maintenance and some issues while under warranty. They fixed one problem then have been denying and stalling the other issues with my car that are supposed to be covered under my warranty. The warranty expires soon and while they keep flooding my email with extended warranty offers for extra $ they refuse to fix the existing issues! Why the hell would anyone pay extra for an extended warranty when you won't honor the original now? This is shysterville at it's worst!!! They clearly do not want to honor the warranty.

Review: The truck I purchased from this dealership was in a car accident on 7/19/15. During this accident I ended up rear ending the car in front of me. The insurance is planning to "total" my truck since enough damage was done that the frame is broken and a great deal of damage was done to the front end. My complaint/issue is that during this accident my airbag never deployed allowing me to hit my head on the steering wheel.Desired Settlement: Would like to be contacted to resolve this issue.

Review: I took my vehicle in for a Jeep recallWhen I picked up the Jeep, it did not runI was told the battery was dead, and had to purchase a battery!I stated that a vehicle should be returned as I drove it in!I believe the vehicle had the radio on auxiliary for the 6+ hours they had it, and drained my battery!(it was on the "on" position when I got in my Jeep)I was told the cables were reversed!!That is not possible, as I could not have driven my Jeep there!!I have requested to be paid for the battery!!Desired Settlement: to be paid for the price I paid for the new battery
