Cancelling is expensive
my experience. I have been dealing with a 'very rare' autoimmune issue. our traditional or western medicine system could identify the issue but held no solutions. working with NDs for several years helped, but I reached a plateau. I hoped Dr. Cole could help me reach a higher level of health. I paid $7700 in advance for the 4 month program . I was granted access to their website and instructed to review several items before my intake call. I did, and discovered nothing new to me. I cancelled. Dr. Cole charged me $2,800 for 2 days access to the gut reset phase on the website and $1,245 for supplements I didn't know were shipped since they told me we don't start supplements until the 2nd month.
Cancelling is expensive

To whom it may concern,We received a complaint about our office policy of no refunds on consults scheduledOur office policy is that all consults scheduled are non-refundableWe encourage all potential patients to speak with their spouses or significant others before schedulingOne, because it is
required if you have a spouse or significant other they must be in attendance for the initial consult, to be an active support system for their significant otherTwo, because we want to make sure they are on board with the consult and the commitment that is made once scheduled. It is stated on our application forms as well as our receipt that the consult is non-refundable. DrC*** personally reached out via phone to explain our policy and that it was standardWe were willing to make every exception to make the consult work for the candidate, other than to refund the cost. The payment made will be honored at any time in the future the potential patient would like to have a consult with our office. It is not a problem we have encountered in thousands of patients over the last nine years, we go above and beyond for patient satisfaction and take that very seriously. Sincerely, Cole Natural Health Centers LLC

Cole Natural Health Centers LLC.Dr. William Cole1000 Infinity Dr.Suite 230Monroeville, Pa 15146 To whom it may concern, In regards to Mr. [redacted]’s claims attached you will find the following:·         Our written (typed) statement to Mr. [redacted] in regards to his patient policy he signed.·         A list of services/ tests/ supplements Mr. [redacted] received from Cole Natural Health Centers LLC.·         Mr. [redacted]’s signed contract. If requested we can provide:·         Email correspondence spanning from November 2016 – June 2017. Note this correspondence addresses all of Mr. [redacted]’s claims.·         Correspondence from a lawyer that Mr. [redacted] had contact us.  To specifically respond to Mr. [redacted]'s claims within this latest round of false accusations: 1st claim: "They lied to me from the beginning as far as what kind of protocol I would be receiving" The office has been open and honest with Mr. [redacted] about the severity of his case, how long it would take to heal (over a year was suggested), very specific instructions on how to begin, and what to be doing. Mr. [redacted] did not follow the instructions as laid out. The office made many attempts to rectify this and clarify this. Mr. [redacted] chose of his own accord to discontinue care and not follow the plan as laid out.2nd claim: ".. they never made me aware that I would lose my money if I was not satisfied with their treatment." This is clearly stated in our refund policy Mr. [redacted] had to sign before he could move forward with care.  Excerpts from policy: 2. NO GUARANTEE:  Every individual responds to care differently.  Accordingly, you acknowledge and agree that no guarantee or assurance has been made as to the results of the care plan and that it may not improve your condition.  We can, however, speak of our experience the success rate in our office has been excellent.  As an office we will do everything in our power to ensure you have a favorable outcome.  Our entire staff has been uniquely trained to assist with these specific types of conditions. All doctors in our office hold an active license and you could be treated by any of them, or working with a nutritional specialist.4. REFUNDS: (Section A). The doctor has recommended a care plan. Once you are accepted into care and you, the patient, decide to enter our program you are assuming all responsibilities of payments. The doctor’s proprietary program begins the same day you are accepted and opted into care; and you, the patient, hereby understand that all payments made reflect these commodities presented now and for future care at retail price.  If you decide to cancel for any reason or a situation should arise where you need to be discharged from care at any time you are free to do so with all payments after three days being nonrefundable. Cancellations must be done in person in the office with the doctor that accepted you into care; a letter must be presented to him or her. (Section B) If you the patient decide that within the first 3 days of signing into care you cannot continue you are free to withdraw from care. However with any cancellation of services there will be a $2,500 nonrefundable deposit fee plus any additional lab fees for office expenditures. Also at this time the Seminar (if attended), Consultation will no longer remain at the reduced rate, but will resume their original cost of $675 per day of consult and $307 for seminar admission and will be taken out of any refund issued. Testing at retail rate is also non-refundable, as well as any supplements ordered and will be taken out of any refund issued. For couples this cost will apply per person. (Refunds Continued)Cancellations must be done in person in the office with the doctor that accepted you into care; a letter must be presented to him or her. Once 3days have lapsed all services/proprietary information are completely nonrefundable.  (Section C) IF Dr. Cole releases you from care for the reason of no longer finding the ability to treat you a refund for any unused services will be issued to you within 60 Days.   3rd claim: "They bullied me and pressured me to sign up or they would change the price on me." Mr. [redacted] had his appointment with Dr. C[redacted] on December 21, 2016. Program options (4 of varying values) were given to Mr. [redacted] that day. Mr. [redacted] did not make a decision on care until January 11, 2017 and did not sign and send the appropriate paperwork until January 12, 2017. There was 22 days in between when Mr. [redacted] had his consult with Dr. Cole and when he signed into care. He was emailed the paperwork and was not contacted again until he was ready to move forward. Mr. [redacted] had the opportunity to read the paperwork at his leisure, ask any questions he may have had, or chose not to move forward upon reading the paperwork. - No time line was given.- No pressure was made. - There are multiple email correspondence between Mr. [redacted] and the office where the office stated (Dec. 28, 2016) if Mr. [redacted] was not sure if he was ready to move forward he should wait until he was ready to move forward. - These emails can be provided for anyone who needs further dates of references and verbiage used.  At every turn Cole Natural Health Centers has attempted to correct and help Mr. [redacted]. Generous amounts of time elapsed between when Mr. [redacted] first contacted us and when he signed into care, showing no pressure was applied. 4th claim: "They told me they had a licensed dietician that would work with me directly."Dr. C[redacted] is the physician, the staff are health coaches. No where does it claim anyone other than Dr. C[redacted] are licensed nutritionist or dietitian. In that regard the staff does have training from IFM, FMU, and Apex training seminars. However the staff is only relaying the protocols that Dr. C[redacted] has laid out. Staff does not make their judgement for care, but are just a support system in place to help. Again, this is clearly stated in the agreement that the patient signed after reading it.5th claim and 6th claim: " They told me I would have access to their team at any time for help." and " Dr. C[redacted] assured me his protocol was like nothing I had tried before and he assured me that all the protocol I had tried didn't work because I had not tried his." Specific instructions on how to proceed with care were sent January 17, 2017 and January 18, 2017. These test instructions were to be followed before anything was put into place. There was several back and forth communication through January 17, 2017 - January 19, 2017 to answer Mr. [redacted]'s questions. Less than one business day lapsed between these communications, with some responses occurring within minutes of being asked. Also on January 23, 2017 an email with specific dietary parameters were sent. It laid out exactly how the program was to proceed, what things to eliminate and foods that were required to be prepared and eaten at specific times, in specific ways. This was laid out in the body of the email. We know Mr. [redacted] received this email because he asked to have the files sent to him unzipped so he would be able to open them. He also asked specific questions that were answered within that same day. The same day he asked the 36 files that were contained in the zip-file were sent in an easy to open PDF file for his convenience. The very next day January 24, 2017 the patient had questions in regards to this email. We explicitly gave detailed answers and solutions to every email that were clinically appropriate. The patient had not followed ANY of the instructions that were given. So after a conversation with Dr. C[redacted], his office manager sent a very detailed email on how to correct his actions and get the patient on the correct course. This was sent the same day of January 24, 2017. In response to that detailed email, correcting the patients disregard for the lay out of the program, the patient thanked the office for our patience with him. (email can be provided upon request. It has been left out to protect patient's identity). This email comes AFTER the patient's claims that Dr. C[redacted] verbally abused him. This is completely a false and libelous statement. The patient's actions following that phone call and the office's emails directly contradict the patient's now wildly false claims. By his own admission via email the patient admits to not following the protocol as laid out and was thanking us for helping him navigate the correct course. 7th claim: "It was bogus, he runs a scam in which he takes desperate unhealthy people such as myself and puts them in a contract in which he assumes no responsibility and then tells you to follow something that anyone who has done enough research can debunk, and prove how contradicting each part of his regimen is"This is so completely unreasonable and unfounded and is meant to do nothing, but slander Dr. C[redacted]. Our website is full of real live patients that we have helped and have been willing to share their testimony. The clinic has helped thousands more people through Dr. C[redacted]'s published articles, webinars, seminars and patients. We never make guarantees, but do work diligently to help every patient find what does and does not work for them and utilizing labs to truly understand the systemic issues of what someone is going through. Everything in the clinic is based and established in proved and reputable clinical research. 8th claim: "He runs no tests."  The patient was provided three separate tests to complete that the clinic provided. So again not founded in truth.  9th claim: "Those supplements are accessible online as well for about half the cost he charges."  Again, inaccurate. Dr. C[redacted] uses a multitude of different companies. All of which are doctors' only companies. Meaning they only sell directly to physicians. The rates in which we apply are the suggested retail value by the company themselves. If a company does not sell just to physicians then Dr. C[redacted] will tell a patient specifically where they can get that supplement since we would not be needed for purchase. This is done always to ensure the patient is receiving the best quality care and supplements that are appropriate based off their labs, symptoms and health history. 10th claim: " I have tried very much to settle with him as I worked with him for about 2 weeks, I tried to get out of it the very first day I met."  First, these are two contradicting statements. The patient did not try to withdraw from care after one day. Quite the opposite, as previously mentioned there was at least two weeks of email exchanges with the patient (mentioned above in the 3rd, 5th and 6th claim) that directly contradict this statement. Also there is 22 days of time lapse from the initial consult to when the patient moved forward with being a patient. The patient became hostile and nonsensical which prevented us from helping him further. We offered many solutions and tried to provide him with the best possible care. 11th claim: ".. he told me it's all in my head and I should seek professional counseling."We did not claim Mr. [redacted] concerns were "all in his head". In fact we realized Mr. [redacted] had gone through years of poor health and that emotionally can take a toll on someone. What we suggested was that Mr. [redacted] speak to someone about his emotional concerns while we handled the physical ailments since we are not trained in therapy. Many patients seek therapy in conjunction with care because of the emotional toll poor health can take. This was said in love and concern. We only practice within our scope.  Mr. [redacted] has made many false claims against Cole Natural Health Centers that are just not true and attempted via lawyer to bully the clinic with those lies. If the attached paperwork is referenced all attempts to help Mr. [redacted] can be seen. In addition the patient's credit card company sided with us and no refund was issued. Mr. [redacted] has used services from the clinic and received hard costs from the clinic. Respectfully at this time the clinic will be issuing no refund. Sincerely, Dr. Will C[redacted] Cole Natural Health Centers LLC.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[They continue to try to paint me out as someone who quit and did not allow myself to go through with the 1 year protocol. That is false and blatant lie. They have lied to me from the beginning as far as what kind of protocol I would be receiving, the kind of protocol help I would get and they never made me aware that I would lose my money if I was not satisfied with their treatment. They bullied me and pressured me to sign up or they would change the price on me. They told me they had a licensed dietician that would work with me directly. They told me I would have access to their team at any time for help. Dr. C[redacted] assured me his protocol was like nothing I had tried before and he assured me that all the protocols I had tried didn't work because I had not tried his. I have a witness that was live for our first consultiation that can vouch for his lies. He verbally abused me when I complains that his protocol was making me feel worse and I could not continue working and follow his protocol as many of his regimens I had already tried several times and failed because it would make me feel worse. He yelled at me told me I'm a quitter and I needed therapy. They continued to paint me as trying to sabotage the protocol and continued to not allow me to get my money back. They will do and say anything to not have to refund me my money. Everything thing on their bogus protocol that he swore would be new and like nothing I had tried on my own (which is a complete lie) I have access to on websites for free throughout the web. I explained that to him prior to signing up and upon recoeiving his protocol. It was bogus, he runs a scam in which he takes desperate unhealthy people such as myself and puts them in a contract in which he assumes no responsibility and then tells you to follow something that anyone who has done enough research can debunk, and prove how contradicting each part of his regimen is. His theory is he understands what your going through and has devised a regimen specifically tailored for your situation which is bogus, because he meets with you for just an hour before his team makes attempts to sign you up. He runs no tests, I provided my own testing and all he does is hope the supplements he gives you will make the difference.  Those supplements are accessible online as well for about half the cost he charges. His only defense is that I signed a contract for a year and now I'm stuck. I have tried very much to settle with him as I worked with him for about 2 weeks, I tried to get out of it the very first day I met (which was well after the 3 days he allows refunds, which I'm sure he does on purpose because he signed me up and wouldn't have me meet with them until 2 weeks later, by that time he states it's too late to get a refund which shows the kind of scam he runs.) he told me I'd be meeting with a health coach and I didn't, he doesn't have a health coach, he lied. And he told me when I complained about how is like every other protocol I told him I had tried prior to signing up, he told me it's all in my head and I should seek professional counseling. I refuse to work with a scam artist who is verbally abusive. .]
