***In regards to complaint ID *** In response to the business reply I must point out the inaccuracies in the short account, first the truck is a Dodge Ram with a completely unknown millage due to the fact that the odometer has not worked since I've acquired the truck. I never requested any upgrades to my vehicle, not off road or high performanceWhen I brought my truck to High Strung Racing it was to address a problem I was having with my front end and with the vehicle shutting off during low idol RPMsI specifically requested that the problems found would be fixed, not upgraded, any upgrades went on with out my consent or awarenessI specifically told the owner that the vehicle was my work vehicle and the reason I brought my vehicle to High Strung Racing is to keep my business local to where I was making my businessI was told that they were diesel specialists by locals I met working as well as the owner of the shopAfter my experience I cannot disagree more with that sentiment. I was told in January that the shop would be happy to go back and fix the problems with the work they completed, they "just needed to tune the injectors", and in order to properly tune the engine, I was told the transmission would need to be in working orderI then brought my vehicle to a transmission specialistWione week it was finished from his shop. I than brought my vehicle back to the guys at High Stung to allow them to follow through with their claims to tune my vehicleAt that point the vehicle was pouring out white and grey smoke and had very little powerI was told the injection pump, and all the injectors needed replacedRecently I was able to talk with the mechanic at Urse Dodge and he said that at least three of the "new" injectors were not functioning and he seemed skeptical that any work was even done to the injection pump or to the injectors. The fact of the matter is the same, I agreed to work preformed with a reasonable standard of competence, when I brought my truck back with my clear complaints and expectations, I was not treated as a customer but as a problemWhen I tried to get the mechanic to follow up with the promise, to "tune the engine after transmission work was completed to finish their work", I was rejected for well over three weeks and not given any updates by phone call as I was promised by the shop owner DanWhen I called in to the shop I was answered by a woman who said "I know nothing about the progress of your vehicle, please call Dan later today"when I finally talked to Dan, he was very short with me, spoke very rudely, and told me that " you should just come get your truck now, we aren't going to work on it"I feel that I have paid for a service that has not been completed as promised. Attached are the two different invoices the business gave me, the second and more detailed invoice was attained after considerable conversation and the reminder that as the customer I deserve to know what parts were put on my vehicleThe second invoice is the correct price paid to the businessThere are some discrepancies in the description of the vehicle, the price and the work performed, please note the highlighted areas, also please note the invoices both have the incorrect vehicle year, this could lead to ordering the wrong parts. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matterSincerely,*** *** P.S. On a follow up note, after I spoke to the owner of the shop in our final conversation, in which Dan insisted that his shop would not finish the work it began, when I went to pick up my vehicle for the final time the owner was not present at the time of pick upOnly the receptionist was there, my key was in my vehicle, and Dan was no where to be found to explain what they did to my vehicle or what the problem was they were havingI still do not know what the problem they had was, I would like to request a full explanation of what they did with my vehicle while it was in their shopTheir shop mechanic Dom said the tune up work would only take about ten minutes to completeAnother service that I have paid for and not received. Thank you for your time,*** ***
