Attached please find a letter that was drafted and sent to Ms [redacted] sometime between the time she wrote Oakwood Apartment Community and the time she contacted the Revdex.comAs you can see, each of her concerns were addressed and we agreed to credit her Security Deposit Disposition $in good faith.I have included with the letter a copy of the invoices in question as well as a copy of the page in Ms [redacted] 's lease which states what the Security Deposit may be used forI cannot supply you signed copies of her lease without her permissionIf you feel is would benefit your investigation, we can contact the resident for her approvalI have also included the copy of the inspection sheetThe pre-inspection results are highlighted in yellow and the post move out inspection is highlighted in pink.Though it was not noted in the letter to Ms [redacted] , her husband was provided a copy of the Pre-Move Checklist noting items that still needed to be cleared at that timeThis copy is signed by Mr [redacted] as he was present for this inspectionThey did not opt to be present at the time of the Movr-Out inspection

In response to Mrs*** latest “Message”, her statements are incorrectWe had two office staff members present during the Initial Inspection and Mr*** noted that he agreed that the apartment was not cleanAdditionally, they were not denied the ability to be present during the final inspection, but were told they would need to make and apptto do soWith a Unit apartment community, it is impossible to conduct inspections on demand, which is what Mrs*** was requesting. The $refund that was offered in my original letter attached has been processed and will be mailed to Mrs***. *** ***’Regional Property ManagerOakwood Apartment Community

I am rejecting this response because:Why is this business putting words in our mouths? My husband NEVER EVER said that the house was dirtyWhat he did say is that he had it professionally cleaned and Miss *** said when the sun was shining during the daylight hours and you turn your head to the left you can see a faint shadow of grease_!!!! My husband was able to only see that when he moved his head that way and opened the blinds...in other words your twisting and bending the truth to suit your argumentWhich AGAIN is why I took picturesWe did not present a dirty apartment to you...the apartment was always kept immaculately clean so how would it suddenly get dirty upon leavingGo look at the photos yourselfAnd regarding your claim that I wanted an ONDEMAND inspection....once again you are twisting things to make me look unreasonableWhat REALLY happened is we wanted to know when we should come back for the second inspection!!! How is that asking to have an inspection now??? When my husband ASKED when to come back they told him HE CANT!!! he asked why and they said they didn't know when he was going to get to it, my husband was willing to come back when they wanted and they REFUSEDI'm sorry but I'm not your typical uneducated fool that your obviously used to dealing withI am in my right mind and thank God I took pictures because I would love to hear you tell the judge how dirty we left the apartment and how quickly you get thrown out of court for fraud

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
As I stated before, I was told by the staff at Eye One that there would only be a $fee and that there would be absolutely no charge for an additional visitNo "refraction" charge was mentioned. I made my complaint because I do not want others to be likewise mislead. My hope is that this was a simple failure to communicateWhile I am willing to not pursue the matter further through the Revdex.com, it is because I am not interested in spending any more of my time on the issue. My complaint stands

During an eye exam if a refraction is performed it is not covered by the patient's insurance. The charge for our refraction is $25.00. This is discussed up front because it is a non-covered service. The patient paid only for her refraction. The patient's insurance only covers
80% of the allowed charge. We participate with the patient's insurance company and billed her directly for the 20% balance. We do not collect the 20% until the insurance processes the claim to make sure the patient is billed correctly. I am happy to answer any other questions to help resolve or help the patient understand. The patient should have received an explanation of benefits from her insurance company which shows "what she owes" or patient responsibility.Thank you,*** ***Practice ManagerEyeOne, PLC.
