Hello,

problem. The customer was told in detail that this is a huge issue. The part cost us $200 dollars along with 13 hours in labor. The customer picked up the car and initially paid $500 because they did not have the funds. Two weeks later they came back and paid another $200 on their own free and expressed their joy with the job well done. Another week passed and the customer returned and complained about the under engine cover. The car was placed on the lift and was explained that the the cover came off because they hit something and caused the clips and screws to come off therefore the cover was hanging. The repair to the oil leak was fixed in a satisfactory manner with no issues as the customer was driving the car for weeks after leaving the shop. The shop was in business for a period of 8 years in Bayshore and recently relocated to another location. The customer is aware of the move.
This is not the truth
the as he states
The car was taken to him by a mutual friend (TRYING TO SAVE ME MONEY ) .
[redacted] was told my mechanic was charging $400.00 .If he was going to charge more
I will take it to my mechanic. . [redacted] called
with a fixed car . Never said how big the oil leak was and or what it was
going to cost . He called with a fixed car and said $1200.
[redacted] my friend who took the car to him told him we agreed on $400.00. You
never said it was going to cost more . So I gave $500.00. The $400.00 we agreed
upon plus and extra one hundred. I came back the next day and gave him an
additional $200.00 because of the extra work he said he had to do .
He then explained when he opened up the car it was a big job and no one would
have done it for $400.00 But I said you never told us that and the car did
drive better and I was happy .The same week I heard a scrapping under the car
and I went to my friend [redacted] and asked him to look . I went to Fire
stone to get my alignment and I asked them to look at what happened and
they said it looks like it was ripped off.
Then oil light came back on in the car and check engine light. So I told
[redacted], who asked me to bring it back in . But at this point I believed he
ripped the bottom off my car because he didn't get the $1200 after arguing with
[redacted] about the price . So I did not want him to work on my car any
more . So I took my car to Bmw who said the Alternator bracket is still leaking
as well as the cover gasket . They gave me paper the work on the car .
I went back to [redacted] to tell him what Bmw said and he lied to my face and said
I never worked on your alternator gasket. Wow I said . yes you did that’s
why I brought you the car . I said let me check what my receipt says. Indeed he
did write alternator and cover gasket. I went back and told [redacted] I just want
my money back. And told him he could deduct the parts with a receipt .
He agreed . I called him back again and said I want my whole
$700.00 back as I have to replace the bottom cover which was destroyed in his care.
He agreed as well and said come over Friday. I went to his place of business
Friday with my daughter., He said can he pay me on Tuesday . I said yes and
Tuesday HE WAS GONE . I CALLED HIM SEVERAL TIMES AND HE DIDN'T PICK UP OR
RETURN VM .
I then went to the Police station and filled a report and contacted Dmv As he
was operating a business without registering with the county or dmv . I want my
money back as I had to pay another mechanic to fix my car properly. He moved
and didn’t say a word !
