My concern is that I am not [redacted].  Yes a certified letter was sent to CRS and I did receive a voicemail regarding the certified letter but by CRS calling me [redacted] that makes me think that records might not have been properly searched regarding this matter.  If I could get something in writing from CRS, on letterhead, stating that this has nothing to do with me by my correct name I will be more than happy to drop this matter.Regards,[redacted]

Our client, [redacted] placed an account for [redacted] in our office for collections with the address of240 Richwine Rd Sherman Dale, PA  17090, which we received mail return by the post office.  We then began normal
skiptracing practices.  We found...

2 possible addresses listed for [redacted] and 1769 Wellington Dr Middletown, PA  17057.  We sent a letter to [redacted] on 10/10/14, with no response.  The phone number we had for that address was [redacted] and it was not in service.
On 11/5/14 we skiptraced his account again, calling the number listed at [redacted] and left a message to call us with a female, at no time did we disclose any information and the female did not state he did not live.  We do not harrass anyone, that is not our business practice.
Which brings us to 11/6/14, when [redacted] filed this erroneous complaint.
Please ask [redacted] to contact our office so we can help him resolve this matter with [redacted].
Thank you,

Review: [redacted] a representive ( ext [redacted]) called and and shared information about my by situation with one of my colleages [redacted] at my place of emplyment. I never authorized her to talk to her nor did I authorize her to talk anyone about my bills this is an invasion of privacy. She had done this more than once. Today she done it with [redacted] and I have had it. She had left me messages and I call her back when I call her back I always get her voice mail. I am a nurse and can not stay by phone 24/7. I also have a mother who had myloplastic syndrome and my days off I am spending at doctors office, transfusions center, etc. But I do try call back we are ttying refi as nce our home since July there were somevthing that we needed to get corrected that were paid and then the company wasbought by another companynin the process we were using CLR. She is rude, yells, disrepestful, I askfil a bill I have never recieved so I could show the mortgage company.Desired Settlement: I want to have a new respentative I will not use [redacted] any longer she broke privacy law by telling my business to my colleuge shehad no business saying anything just asking if I was working and that was it. We are not even allowed to give information about how and employee preformed at work just yes or no they work here she [redacted] stepped over the line by talking about my informtion with [redacted] (my co-worker) I would prefer her not call mynwork at all send me a bill and I would like a different representive that new the rules. I used do collections before becoming a nurse so I know a littlt.

Thank you

Response:

Hello

My apologies for our late response.

Review: This company, CRS, is falsely trying to collect a debt that has been paid and was paid in a settlement even after the Statute of Limitations had already run out in the state of California. CRS is refusing to send me the required letter after making initial contact under the FDCPA. They have stated that they sent one at the beginning of March 2014. I have not received it and have tried requesting another one which I am entitled to under the FDCPA, which they are refusing. CRS has illegally contacted and provided my personal information regarding my account with people that they have contacted and spoken with. CRS threatened me and others contacted that I would be served and sued. CRS threatened me that I had to pay half the balance today 3/28/14 to "stop" them from filing charges against me. CRS refused 3 times today 3/28/14 to provided a mailing address to me so that I could ask in written correspondence for my FDCPA letter. I do have a witness to the whole third conversation that took place today 3/28/14, that representative rudely hung up on me when I had advised that I had received legal advice regarding this matter and that they were breaking the law. CRS has never to my knowledge attempted to try and contact me before yesterday 3/27/14 to advise me of any attempt of a debt collection. CRS has committed multiple violations under FTC regulations and the CFPB.Desired Settlement: To stop calling and harassing me and others being contacted and to send proof under the FDCPA and FTC that is required to be provided.

This is not for our company. [redacted] does not have an account here, it must be for another CRS and we are the first one that comes up in a [redacted] search. We received a certified letter from her, and I called and left a message that she has the wrong agency.

Review: This organization is a debt collection agency which has contacted several individuals who are A) not myself, B) not my immediate family, and C) not any address or number ever listed under my name while trying to reach me. Some of the people they have contacted while asking for me have little connection to me at all. For instance, today (November 5, 2014) they called my girlfriend's parent's house--a place I have never lived, nor listed as an address or contact number. How they would even have that number remains suspicious enough, let alone their use of it. It is completely inappropriate for them to be harassing other people when they are not even calling my own personal line!Desired Settlement: The business has no right to be calling and asking for me at any number or address other than my own. They have my personal number on file ([redacted]) and should not attempt any other means of communication.
