Neither Collection Account is with this company anymore. I want them to remove it from the Credit Report.Neither of the 2 Collections that this company reports on the credit reports is with them anymore. They are with CBB Collections which has reached a settlement with myself and my attorney. I would like CSN to Remove both of these from my credit report, If they have any questions or issues they may speak to my attorney.Desired SettlementI would like CSN to Remove both of these from my credit report, ASAP Please. They can't tell me they can't either because the other collections I paid these past two months were removed at my request.Business Response February 18, 2016Revdex.com4834 Sparks Blvd # 102Sparks NV 89436Re: Revdex.com Case # [redacted]The consumer is incorrect that Collection Service of Nevada is no longer handling accounts [redacted] and [redacted]Since the consumer has relocated to [redacted], our agency has employed CBB Collections as our subcontractor. CBB has informed us that a settlement is in progress. Once the consumer has paid CBB and CBB has in turn remitted to Collection Service of Nevada, the account will be reported to the credit bureaus as settled in full.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have paid the City of[redacted] Collection, Please Check with CBB. Also The[redacted] Motors account is waiting on your client to turn over the title and lien release. This is all that's holding up that collection, the attorney has a cashiers check for the settlement amount.Final Business Response As we have said multiple times before, we will remove the collection accounts from the credit report when payment is received. Final Consumer Response

On January 11, 2016 My wife spoke with [redacted] with Collection Services of Nevada at 9:25 AM. [redacted] agreed to remove the debt of $250.93 from my credit report (debt originally with City of Fallon)if we paid the debt in full at that time. my wife paid the debt using our debit card. She confirmed the debt would be removed and that they reported on the 15th of the month. The debt was not removed, My wife then called back on January 28, 2016 and spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] around 10:45AM. [redacted] told my wife the debt would not be removed it would be reported as paid in full. My wife explained that [redacted] had already agreed to remove it on January 11,2016. my wife told them she would be reporting them to the Revdex.com and then [redacted] told my wife that she would need to dispute it and that she can put in a request for removal. We should not have to jump through these hoops we paid the amount in full as they asked and now they are refusing to do what they agreed to in the first phone conversation.Desired SettlementI would like this removed from my credit report as originally agreed with [redacted].Business Response February 1, 2016Revdex.com4834 Sparks Blvd #102Sparks NV 89436Re: Revdex.com Case #[redacted]Collection Service of Nevada was assigned the above referenced account on September 22, 2011. Notice of Assignment and several other letters were sent with no response from the consumer. Also, Collection Service of Nevada did not receive any mail return. On January 12, 2016, the consumers wife called our office and spoke to Krystal. She asked if she paid the account in full, would it be removed from credit as they were trying to buy a house. The consumers wife was told that the account would remain on credit, but would show as a paid account. The consumers wife then asked when this would be reported and was told that the credit spin is typically done on the 15th of the month. At this time, the account was paid and a receipt showing the account paid was mailed to the consumer. The payment for $250.93 was posted to the account on January 13, 2016 therefore coding the account to reflect as paid on the credit spin that was done January 15, 2016. All indicators show that this was reported as a paid account. Collection Service of Nevada has no control on the time the Credit Bureaus take to update their records. On January 28, 2016 , the consumers wife called Collection Service of Nevada and spoke to Amanda and [redacted]. The consumers wife insisted that she was told the account would be removed from credit and not just reflect as paid. In speaking to the consumers wife, [redacted] explained that she was told the account would reflect as paid but as a courtesy, [redacted] would have the account coded to remove from credit on the next credit spin. This credit spin is being done on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 as February 15, 2016 is a holiday. Again, Collection Service of Nevada has no control over the speed with which the credit bureaus process our requests. Typical time frames can be up to two months. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

This company continues to report to all credit bureaus that my accounts are still "Open" even though my BK was discharged since 06/16/14.This company was given adequate communication from my attorney and the Bankruptcy Court that my case (#[redacted]) has been discharged since 06/16/14. Even though this company zeroed out my balance, they continued to report my account "Open" up to now which has detrimentally affected my financial situation.Desired SettlementI need this company to close all of my accounts and update my file with all credit bureaus by removing it.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], ManagerContact Phone: 775-333-5757Contact Email: [redacted]@csn-reno.comIt is Collection Service of Nevada's policy and legal responsibility to report the true and correct status of each account. Upon further investigation, we have determined that Ms. [redacted]'s accounts have gone through the proper succession of credit reporting. When notified of the bankruptcy discharge, we changed our reporting from Petition for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy to Discharged through Bankruptcy Chapter 7 and have reported this status monthly since July 15, 2014. As we have no control over the speed at which the credit bureaus update their information, Ms. [redacted] would be better served to file her dispute with each credit bureau.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have contacted the credit bureaus and they have validated that while CSN has reported the accounts "Discharged through Bankruptcy" they are still reporting the accounts as an "Open" thus affecting my credit worthiness. All I need is for CSN to report my accounts "CLOSED". I do not know why this is hard because they are truly "CLOSED" and other collection agencies were able to send an update with the credit bureaus to show that the accounts are closed.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)According to the CSN response, they pulled my [redacted] credit report without my permission. This came up as a "hard inquiry" which lowered my credit score. While I understand that collection agencies can pull credit reports but my accounts were already closed, discharged and have no balance so they don't have the right to damage my credit worthiness any more. This entire ordeal made my credit worthiness worse instead of better with a hard pull from a collection agency that will make creditors question if I still have any outstanding accounts in collection.Final Business Response I am sorry that this consumer is not satisfied with our efforts to resolve her problem. However, there is nothing more that we can do. We have resubmitted the information to the credit bureaus and have offered to write a letter that she can attach to her credit file. We have no control over the way the credit bureaus process our submissions, and any investigations we did were prompted by this complaint. [redacted], PresidentCSN

Medical bill was referred to this company for collection in DEC2013. The bill was fully paid in APR2016.Product_Or_Service: Debt Collection Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like this removed from my credit report. The bill is fully settled and there is no reason for this to remain as there is no outstanding balance.Business Response June 30, 2016Revdex.com4834 Sparks Blvd #102Sparks NV 89436Re: Revdex.com Case #[redacted]Collection Service of Nevada was assigned the above referenced account on December 18, 2013. Notice of Assignment and several other letters were sent with no response from the consumer. On February 12, 2014, Collection Service of Nevada received and applied a payment that had been made directly to Radiology Consultants in the amount of $150.00. Since there had still been no response from the consumer, a letter was sent requesting them to make their payments directly to Collection Service of Nevada instead of our client. On April 29, 2014, a payment was received from the consumer and applied in the amount of $25.00.Attempts were made to reach the consumer by phone and mail; however the consumer did not contact Collection Service of Nevada until June 2, 2015. At that time, the consumer asked if she could settle the account for less than the balance owed and have it removed from the credit report. We informed the consumer that this particular client does not settle their accounts once it is turned over to collections, but offered to remove the account as a courtesy if it was paid in full with one lump sum. The consumer said she could not pay off the account and would need to set up payment arrangements. The consumer made a $300.00 payment that day and set up payment arrangements of $25.00 per month on the balance. The payment arrangements were not kept and we again did not receive a response from the consumer until April 26, 2016. At that time, the consumer paid the remaining balance of $222.50 and Collection Service of Nevada provided a letter saying the account was paid in full.Collection Service of Nevada reported all payments to the three credit bureaus on the 15th of each month. Once the account was paid in full, Collection Service of Nevada reported the debt as such. Although the consumer's position is that the account should not be on her credit report, the credit system revolves around a credit grantor receiving accurate information. We have proceeded properly under FCRA by reporting the true and accurate condition of the debt, which is paid in full.Consumer Response Almost forgot: My credit report impacts my ability to keep the job currently have. I fought for four years to find a position that would allow me to meet my basic survival needs and be fiscally responsible. Up until when this agency was paid in full, this was not possible. I am fighting for this to be removed from my record because I'm trying protect my future by staying employed. I have never been a risk as an employee through my work or actions. I have never been fired or denied a promotion in my previous work history. This is, however, entirely possible now with this on my financial record. My inability to pay medical bills during my time as under-employed student should not shape my ability to progress on my current career track or jeopardize my continued ability to meet my current and future fiscal obligations. Final Business Response July 20, 2016Revdex.com4834 Sparks Blvd #102Sparks NV 89436Re: Revdex.com Case #[redacted]As a courtesy, Collection Service of Nevada reported to all three credit agencies to remove account 664974 from Ms. Simmons credit report on 07/15/16.Collection Service of Nevada has no control over the speed with which the credit bureaus process our requests. Typical time frames can be up to two months. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)This is what I asked for when I opened my complaint. I have copies of their responses and will gladly reopen this complaint if they fail to honor their proposed action.
