Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. My view:  You will note that Collective K-9 has in their possession three emails from me because of my concerns for other animals at their facility.  Yet no emails where they ever took the time to respond to me.  They never called back and never emailed back.  Not a caring facility.  Also they comment that there is no way for my vet to assume it came from their facility.  Oh, they are veterinarians now?  They never talked to my vet.  I did.  The dog was picked up at 5 PM.  By seven hours later, he was violently throwing up.  Our vet said the virus had reached a critical level and the dog would have had to have it for awhile.  He could not have come down with it and it be that serious in the short amount of time he was home.  My vet did say that a stressed dog is more susceptible to getting it but that the virus did come from the facility.  Regarding signing that form that says I am responsible for medical bills....  First off, when one reads that or signs it, you are thinking that if the dog is sick or has an issue not at the fault of the facility that you would of course be responsible for it.  But if it is the fault of the facility, I have to pay? Makes no sense.  What happens if the dog wasn't properly supervised and got hit by a car. I am to assume that paper means we would have to pay for that too?  Also,  I have boarded at two other facilities over the last 30 years and never had an issue with either and was never asked to sign such a paper. I only brought the dog there because I wanted to try out the doggy day care.  The other contradiction is they say that the dog apparently got sick after I picked him up.  Well if that is the case, then why did they shut down and clean everything? The bottom line, is I doubt Revdex.com can make this facility pay my vet bill.  But clearly this is not a facility that does the right thing.  The right thing would have been to check on the condition of my dog, call me back,  or answer one of my emails.  The right thing would be to pay the vet bill.  It cost me over $300 to board the dog there and the day after I bring him home, another $493.  Apparently there have been other complaints about this facility at Revdex.com.  No this complaint is not resolved and I suspect it never will be.  Regards,[redacted]

September 21, 2015ID # [redacted]To Whom This may Concern:[redacted] dropped his dog off on August 25, 2015, for our board and train program. [redacted] was with us for 10 days, he was released on September 4"', 2015. We kept [redacted] for an extra 3 days which is normal and was stated to the...

owners that we may add more time on depending on how quickly the process takes, as some dogs learn differently cognitively. (At no cost to them.) On the said day, [redacted]'s appointment was delayed 10-15 minutes because [redacted] had messed in the training room and we were cleaning it up. We have pictures that are time stamped for 1 :34pm on September 4"', 2015. I also have a copy of our calendar for that day. Th ere was no appointments before them. In the picture of his release day there are no marks on his legs. (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED) There are also videos of [redacted] during training on our Facebook page. Where they are stating [redacted]'s shave marks are, don't add up to where a vet would inject a needle because the main veins on a dogs legs are on the inside of a dogs legs not outside. The drug they are stating we used is not one we have ever heard of either. We do not have a veterinarian in our building . And for no reason what so ever have we ever given a dog an injection of any sort. Nobody here is qualified to do this. We do recommend a drug called fluoxetine for dogs who are showing aggressive trendies and for genetic poor nerves, but this is given and prescribed by a vet. This is a drug that is given orally. This is a drug that has to be whined off and stays in their system for over a week after they stop taking it. This drug will also cause a stroke if it is just abruptly stopped. We also told the owners when they came in to speak with the trainers that if they felt we had shaved their dogs legs and injected him with something, to please bring him to a veterinarian and have blood work done, to prove their theory. We also offered them one on one sessions with them to prove to them the dog does preform the same as he did when he was here for our program. As a company, we were completely honest with this owners during the owner session. We stated their dog was very over excited at times. We had imprinted certain behaviors to improve [redacted]'s over excitement and showed them the tools and drills to have a successful dog. [redacted] related his owners to over excitement. When we changed the over excitement is when they became unhappy, but this is why they sought out help from us in the beginning. [redacted] has the potential to be a wonderful pet, with the right owners, who can be assertive enough to keep the dog in follower state. Not every dog is going to be suitable for every owner. [redacted] requires a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. Which the owners stated they did not have time to walk this dog on a regular basis and provide the right amount of exercise. The said dog was purchased because he was cute, without the reality of him being a "working" dog breed. While [redacted] was here he played in daycare and ran on a treadmill to receive his exercise goal. [redacted] worked everyday with trainers and had learned how to settle and how to behave in follower state. The owners have not followed threw on training and instructions from either trainers. Collective Kg provides plenty of ways to have a dog reduce energy. We offer treadmill training, doggie daycare, hiking packs and detection and scent work. If we injected a dog with medication to calm them we would be taking away from our own profit centers. Their whole theory does not make any sense logically. Every dog that walks threw our door is treated as our own and part of our Collective Kg family. Sincerely,Charles W[redacted]Collective Kg Dog Training

To whom this concerns,                 In no way what so ever have I or anyone else here ever promised a fully trained protection dog in 6-7 months. These kind of dogs require extensive training along with handler follow through. I imprint through out the...

months of their program and a lot of one on one owner sessions. [redacted] always had trouble understanding what exactly she was doing and getting into with this kind of program. We have a pup from the same liter as [redacted] making way more progress, because the handlers get it. [redacted] has learned more than how to bark on command as you will see in the video. [redacted] is on an intermediate bite sleeve as well as barking on command. [redacted] has also learned leash manners, sit, off and as well as bite work. [redacted] has also learned how to stay with distractions, positive forward motion and “attack” command and counters. She identifies with a prey item threw prey drive development (also taught by myself). The owners were taught all German commands as well as proper handler skills. We explained to [redacted] when she signed up that after her program ended she would be eligible for our protection dog program that meets twice a week, twice a day for everyone’s convenience. Attached is copies of the emails sent and other paper work her father had signed. Which brings another concern, [redacted] was studying in Rochester for the majority of the bring part of [redacted]’s training. Which is why she lacks knowledge of [redacted]’s training.                 [redacted]’s package enclosed that [redacted] would have a lifetime “membership” in our protection club. The club has a yearly fee of $500.00 which is waived because its is included in their package. There is $50.00 a month in dues due on the first of every month. This is what [redacted] is referring too. So on top of her package price she would have an additional $50.00 a month to pay on. Most customers have paid off before their package before it has ended. So this additional cost is on their end. The package price was $4,000.00 they have paid $1,200.00 of that package. Nobody has been taken advantage here. We have worked [redacted] for 8 months. And we deserve compensation for the work completed. Typically, these packages run from $4,000-$5,000.  [redacted] is in a good place training wise. They have decided not to move forward with her training and let their emotions get the best of them.                 [redacted] was enrolled in daycare free of charge. When we noticed [redacted] was losing drive we had to pull her from daycare. A dog who is in daycare all day and plays sometimes doesn’t have the drive to work, so they need to be kenneled to build frustration to bring their drive up. The daycare program was for duration of her program. This ended when her program ended. I hope this satisfies the complaint, attached is two letters from customers who witnessed [redacted] transform into a personal protection dog that she is. They spent many weeks with [redacted] training. Thank You, Charles [redacted] Collective K9 Dog Training

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This issue is not about my dog's behavior, this issue is not about the kind of owners we are, this is about the fact that Collective K9 harmed our dog physically and that they are denying it. Please review the pictures we attached of the marks, that were taken the day we brought him home from the trainer's. Collective K9 is trying to distract from the main point here, by focusing on his behavior and us as owners, and we do have a video of when we brought [redacted] back to confront Collective K9 about the marks, but the site won't let me upload it. You would see that we asked them about the marks. Their only explanation for the marks on his legs are that they are "callouses" and try to show us the marks on their dog Dana's elbows, which are actual callouses, and then we tell them that [redacted]'s marks look nothing like those, that they are not the same, and that [redacted]'s marks are 2 identical slashes on each arm with a clear red pinhole in each. They had no reaction to that other than, "But what would we even inject in your dog" and "Let me ask you this, how's his behavior?" Also, the pictures they Charles/Collective K9 attached on their response, first of all, the Calendar could have been made after the fact. Us stating that we waited so long after our appointment time and that he had another evaluation during that time are just another reason we are displeased with our experience there. Then there is the fact that, Charles told us the day we picked him up, that we waited because they were finishing giving [redacted] a bath, and when they brought [redacted] to us, he was very oily, dirty, and stank very bad. It was clear he did not get a bath. But this is where their stories contradict, as Charles' response says it is because he "messed in the training room" which I assume mean he relieved himself in there. The picture of us with [redacted], if you look at his leg, right underneath where his black fur meets his white fur, you will see a slight gray line, a shadow from the missing fur, which is the shaven marks we are referring to. The picture is horrible quality and very fuzzy, it looks like they printed out the picture, as it has creases in it. The picture is not a close-up, and it is fuzzy quality, so you will not be able to see it well, but if you compare it to the pictures we attached, you will see that it is the same mark. The time stamp on this picture is irrelevant, as you can see this is not an original picture. If you will notice the folds/creases in this picture, this proves that it is not original. Our appointment to pick him up was also at 11:30AM and even the time stamp they put was 2 hours after this. We definitely did not spend 2 hours in our trainer session, it was approximately 45 minutes, which means we were waiting for an hour. But that is not our Main issue here, that is just a small thing on our long list of complaints. This just adds to their unprofessionalism of calling us only an hour before the original pick up time & date to tell us he would be staying longer. Please search for "Acepromazine Injections" and you will find that it is a tranquilizer meant to change a dog's behavior and depress the central nervous system. This may not be the exact drug they used, but it is the point that Charles stated he would need a Vet to administer any injections or drugs. If you make that search online, you will see that the drug is easily accessible online and does NOT need a vet to administer this. Maybe Charles should do some research before he makes claims. This drug can be injected into the muscles, which is the location that [redacted]'s marks were.Charles also mentioned in his response that we said we only got [redacted] because he was cute, and didn't know he was a "working dog" as they call it. That is a COMPLETE lie. We never said that, and the reason we got our dog has no relativity to the matter at hand. We have had huskies in our families and grown up with them. But furthermore,The marks on [redacted] are NOT callouses, they are shaven marks with injection pinholes. Collective K9 had no other alternative explanation as to why the marks would be there other than them being callouses, which they are clearly not. If Collective K9 wishes to resolve our complaint, we would need a full refund on the $775 we spent on his training. We fully regret ever bringing [redacted] there, and wish we never had. My dog was harmed by this company and they are now denying it. Regards,[redacted] and [redacted]

[redacted] was at out boarding facility for 10 days in March. [redacted] never showed any signs of stress or being ill. His stools were solid and his urine was normal. He played in daycare, socialized and exercised everyday he was here. Mrs. [redacted] signed a boarding waiver stating that she would be...

responsible for any and all vet bills they may occur while her dog [redacted] was here boarding. Our training and boarding facility uses a chemical called Kennsol to clean, disinfect and deodorize. This is veterinarian recommended. At the time I last spoke to Mrs. [redacted] I told her no other dogs here were ill at the time and stated to her the same thing her vet had said, boarding facilities can be stressful on some dogs and it weakens their immune system. We take the cleanliness of our facility very seriously. The fact that no other dogs were sick and we made a decision to close our business down for a day, to go through and re-clean our facility from top to bottom, shows that we took this matter very seriously. There is no way for her vet to assume that what [redacted] had, came from our facility. He could have picked it up the night he came home, seeing that there were no other dogs here that were ill at the time. At pick up the family never stated that he didn't look right or seem himself. Please see the attached waiver and printed emails.
