removed. There is no way the charger can attach itself to the system, only the system to the charger. We have never seen this problem before with the 100's of chargers we have sold. The buyer left satisfied after the trade. Thanks!

Review: On March 20th 2014, my parents went to The Vault on my behalf to sell old video games and to purchase a Nintendo DS Lite charger. The purchase was made and completed with no problems. Upon returning home, my parents gave me the DS charger. I put the DS on charge maybe two times before putting it on a final time before bed. I went to work the next day and came home to find the charger fused in the charging port. I tried pulling it out but did not want to damage the charging port on the DS so I went back to the store, the next day March 21st, where the charger was purchased and tried to get assistance. The employees were very helpful but the owner was not in and they told me to come back the next day when she would be in so she could take a look at it. I went back today, March 22nd, and the owner and her husband looked at it. The husband told me that it was NOT the charger, but in fact the system itself, saying the system was holding onto the charger, not letting it release. However, I have used multiple chargers before and never once had this problem. It was only once I bought this secondhand charger that a problem arose. Their charger is still stuck in my DS and they refused to do anything. Upon returning home, I made a call to Nintendo and talked to one of their technicians. They told me there was no reason the system should latch onto the charger and not let it go. When I talked to the husband, he said that my DS has a locking mechanism and that is why it was stuck but the certified Nintendo DS technician said there is no such thing in my DS and should not get stuck.Desired Settlement: I would like for the owners of The Vault/Collector's Lair to compensate me for this DS, which now has a charger sticking out the back and is no longer 'portable' what with a three foot cord hanging from the back.... I can no longer go out and purchase this particular model DS so I would like for them to swap out one of theirs, along with a new charger, for the one that has their charger in the back.
