Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did try and reconcile the issue the day I had my services scheduled by telling them to submit the claim and whatever was owned I would payBut the dentist wanted me to pay half of a worst case estimated cost that they came up, nearly $600, with before he would perform my procedureHe then indicated they would reimburse me for what I overpaidThat is in no way in the best interest of his patientsIn addition to that, I have confirmed that what they were presenting as far as my insurance and billing was incorrectThey need to recognize this and take accountability for shady business practices Sincerely, [redacted]

Every complaint, regardless of circumstances, is taken very seriously. For that reason, College Avenue Family Dentistry welcomes any patient that is in any way dissatisfied with their experience at our office to bring the issue to our attention so that we can work together toward an appropriate resolution. Unfortunately, due to HIPAA legal limitations, we are not able to comment or respond to any specific medical allegations in this forum. He then indicated they would reimburse me for what I overpaid. That is in no way in the best interest of his patients. In addition to that, I have confirmed that what they were presenting as far as my insurance and billing was incorrect. They need to recognize this and take accountability for shady business practices.

In regards to Case #XXXXXXX, we take our patient concerns and complaints very seriously. After the patient called on 8/14 to let...

us know that he had not yet received his refund check mailed via UPS Ground, we checked the tracking number and according to UPS tracking, the check was delivered to the patient's front door on 8/12 at 10:20 am. We informed him of this and he said he would check again when he returned home. We asked for him to call back if, in fact, he had not received it, and we would re-issue a new check. We have not heard back from the patient after several attempts to ensure the check was received. We strive to serve each of our patients with the highest quality dental care experience possible and take pride in committing to each patient's oral health. We sincerely apologize for this situation and appreciate the opportunity to improve in this matter.
