Terrible Company
Please see attachments. Liars & Scammers! My husband and I filled out the neccessary paperwork, we've emailed, we've called. We booked them.for 6/8/21. As of today 9/21, nothing. However, they lied to BBB see attached. Horrible Moving Company. Please read all reviews on different websites. Any positive feedbacks are more than likely false or paid for by company.

They made it smooth and easy and lessened the stress of the move. I had a great experience with College Dudes Help You Move I had never used movers before, and the process was so easy and convenient. They were uniformed in purple shirts and orange kakis and showed up on time and were so so efficient - they finished my entire move in 1.5 hours! I was thrilled. Really nice and professional guys. Did a great job and would 100% use the service again.

The move was great! Jonothan, Darius and Cleveland were fantastic -very hardworking, friendly, and were very conscientious of how they packed the items to prevent dings breaks/damage. Travis helped with the packing in Mooresville and was great as well. Christina, the office manager kept in contact with us to notify us of exactly when they were coming -which we greatly appreciated! There was a small scheduling issue and the administrators but they got everything worked out to our satisfaction

Do not hire this company!
I hired these folks for my mother to just pack and move the loose items left over from the heavy stuff moved earlier.
It all started with an early phone call on the day of the move on 7/27. The call was from an employee letting me know they were on the way. I asked if the 15 boxes that we were needing were on the truck and glad I did because he said there was not anything on the truck. I asked him to check the job order and that they should be on there. He got an attitude and said he would have to stop and talk with his manager and get the boxes and then hung up on me. 10 minutes later he called back asking me with even more attitude what size boxes I am needing. I politely replied again that the job order said 15 large boxes. He proceeds to get even more of an attitude once I told him that there was no need in the attitude towards me the client. He then hung up on me a second time!
I then called in and talked with a sales manager named Ash, about how I was treated and how this employee hung up on me twice for no reason.
Ash contacted the COO and they did pull this team off the truck and decided to put their "A" team on the job, but that they would be at the house my mother was moving from in about 2-3 hours due to them finishing up a job they were on. I was relieved that we would not have that employee dealing with my mother, but with her having Parkinson's, it was rough on her waiting non the less.
The new team did arrive, was doing a good job until the lead guy made a couple of comments about the stuff they were packing and it being "ridiculous". My mother heard and let them know that she is paying them to keep food on their tables. I called and reported this aggravation to Ash.
Once this was addressed all was well unto I got to my mothers condo they were moving to, and they quickly shoved a blank iPad in my face and proceeded to tell me that I have to sign. Sign what I asked? They said you have to pay before we unload the truck. (I have never heard of paying before the job is complete in any shape or form when hiring a service company). They then said that it is company policy and they got the owner, Hannibal on the phone. He explained that it is because they have moved people before and that they have been stiffed of not being paid afterwards. Trying to understand and not be difficult, I reluctantly agreed to sign and pay. However when they stated what was owed was around $200 more than what I was quoted, I asked why the extra amount? They did not have a clear answer and I quickly advised them that they should be finished within the 5 hours job time quoted, us paying for the 15 boxes and the gas for the truck, so there should not be any other charges.
Hannibal told the lead guy to adjust the iPad to the quoted amount and I then signed and gave my card information at that point. In the haste to have me pay and the haste to have them quit wasting time debating about policy and amount owed, later realized that the $50 deposit that I left with Cassandra over the phone on 7/24 was not applied towards the total amount ran on my card.
Now I am currently dealing with having that refunded and with no luck in a response from emailing or leaving voicemails about the deposit refund.
The dealing with the bad attitudes and mixup of the needed boxes not on the truck the first time, having to have my mother wait 2 hours longer than planned, trying to charge more than the quoted amount, and then not having received a receipt upon paying and completion, it has been a horrible experience and one that they will not take accountability for and offer any kind of compensation including refunding at the very least my $50 deposit which is due to me!
Looking at other reviews below, and how the owners are quick to take a defensive posture and blame the clients for their bad experiences, by not assuming accountability and showing integrity, it will be interesting to see how the owners will respond to my review here.

Per the job order, we were only supposed to help pack and move 15 boxes. We provided an estimate based on what we were told. When we arrived at the job site, we discovered that there were actually 70-80 boxes and a lot of other loose items to be moved. Instead of having the team only complete what was on the work order, we had them stay and complete the entire job. The job took longer than what was quoted because it was 10 times larger than what was quoted. We do bill all of our customers after load up. This is standard practice within the industry and almost every moving company does this. Further, even though the job took longer as a result of the extra items, we did not charge the customer for the additional time that the job took. The customer was well aware that we and all moving companies charge by the hour. The deposit was credited back against the balance on the day of the move.

This is incorrect. Per the job order, I, not being the moving expert estimated needing 15 boxes for loose items. My Mother had other items already put in plastic storage bins and other items did not need boxing up, but just needed packed on the truck and moved.
You, the business owner said that you bill hourly and according to job time. You estimated it would take around 5 hours total ( including drive time which was 1 and a half hours each way.) Your employees got back to the condo and unloaded within that 5 hour timeframe, so how did the job time take longer than quoted???
Not to mention, calculating drive time of a round trip of 3 hours, then that leaves only 2 hours left that your employees only worked in boxing up, loading and unloading. So this was not an out of the ordinary or under quoted and priced job.
We paid the $190 fuel charge, we paid for the 15 boxes at $12 each (which is a rip-off), and we paid the $120/ hr quote for 5 hours for 2 movers.
Either way you look at it, the job did not take more than the quoted 5 hours, so no extra job time was accrued. End of story!
The total quote for all was $885. I paid a $50 deposit on 7/24 over the phone with Cassandra and my card was charged and it reflects that.
When I caught your trying to overcharge us figure at the time to pay before unloading, you did adjust to the original quoted $885 then once I questioned the overcharge. In my hurry to accommodate paying you so you could get the stuff unloaded into my Mother's condo, and the job done in the allotted 5 hour timeframe, I had forgotten about the $50 deposit that should have been applied to the outstanding balance.
So the outstanding balance should have been $835.
I called and emailed, to see about getting a credit back, and no one bothered to get back with me once I had realized that the deposit had not been deducted from the total. So I had to call my card company and initiate a chargeback proceeding as a result.
So many people on your reviews that have had bad experiences with your company, but the common theme of your responses are always manipulated into it being the customer's fault in some fashion or form.
Why would customers take their precious time to leave theses reviews explaining their bad experiences if they were not true? I know I don't have the time to just make stuff up and I am sure others don't either unless they truly have been wronged.
There is no accountability on your part at all. Not good business at all, and the long term effects of this mentality will take a toll on your business. I promise you that.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. DAMAGED MY FURNITURE IN FEB. AND STILL HAVEN'T GIVEN ME A SETTLEMENT!!!!!!!!!

College Dudes helped me on short notice, moving to a storage unit and back again. They were fast and kind. No hidden fees! Highly recommend.

What's the point of writing what happened when someone will respond to make it look like it's your fault. Not sure how broken washer door and bed frame or missing items would be my fault though. Also, one of the boys definitely smelled like weed when they 1st arrived but then sprayed himself down with whatever "heavily" to hide the smell... still waiting on the full printout and it's been the months.

Overcharged, broken items, a lot of times they stood around doing nothing to take up time. Then had me go ahead to storage and it took them an hour to get there when it only took me 15 minutes. Just horrible!
