I am rejecting this response because:We have reviewed the documents and handwritten notes on the attachments provided by Mr***We still feel that it is w***g and unethical for his business to keep the full amount of $that we have paid due to all the reasons stated in the details of our complaint/responsesThe Service Agreement set for years was cancelled on 09/02/(just days after payment was made)We DO NOT agree that the service agreement has been fulfilledWhy would we not be entitled a REFUND??? We again acknowledge that some services have been provided (as stated previously) and we are willing to pay partial However, we DO NOT agree that they were worth the full amount of $that we paid We are very dissatisfied with this service and are very disappointed that Mr [redacted] is denying our requestWe intend to continue to pursue our effort with this matter until this is resolved and we receive the refund that we st***gly feel is due to us Please adviseThank you very much!

This client did not pay for years of service upf*t As you will see from the copy of the Service Agreement signed by this client, they paid an initial enrollment fee which was used to pay for my time in putting together and presenting their personalized College Funding Plan and the initial fee for services provided by my partner company The College Planning Network These are services this client has already utilized After the initial enrollment fee is paid, there is an additional years of services provided to the client but that is not covered by the initial enrollment fee Those services are paid for over time via monthly increments of $per month for months Again, this can be seen on the Service Agreement signed by the client When the client canceled their membership with us and with The College Planning Network, the $a month fee came to a stop To be stated more plainly, the client has only paid us for services which we have already provided and they have utilized They have in no way met the obligations to pay for years of service If they had, of course we would refund that money Unfortunately, we cannot refund money they have yet to pay The College Funding Plan I out together was a fantastic plan that would not only have saved them lots of money, it would have made them money in the long run I'm sorry they have been unable to see the benefit It does not mean the benefit is not there

We met with the [redacted] family in office on 3 occasions.  The first was an evaluation of their student and financial situation.  They signed for our Basic Package.  We next met with them and their son [redacted] for a Career Cruising Orientation.  The final meeting was a presentation...

of a college funding financial plan.  The services promised and provided are enumerated below.1. We took [redacted] through an orientation on how to use Career Cruising.  This program is a website and [redacted] was provided a user name and password, so that he would have unlimited access.  It takes a student through an occupational inventory where they rate 116 occupations and a skills inventory where they rank their skill level on 45 activities.  Users learn about themselves - their interests, skills, preferences an aspirations- so that can explore extensive reports on professions, college major and schools that will meet their academic and nonacademic needs.  [redacted] has completed 81% of the tasks up to this point.  He listed 6 occupations he was interested in and 6 college.2. The family was provided an 18-week ACT preparation course and a 20-week SAT preparation course.   It included an evaluation test, lessons and interactive quizzes, a vocabulary builder and actual practice exams. 3. The family was provided a private scholarship search program.  The user answers a series of questions about themselves and their family.  The search results is a list of private scholarships including all of the details necessary to make an application for consideration.4. The family was provided an extensive financial plan.  They had agreed to use the equity in a rental property in Hawaii as a source of college funds.  We recommended using that equity to pay off about $150,000 in loans, including a $125,000 Parent PLUS loan that they used to pay for the cost of college for their oldest son.  The payment of the debt freed up payments that could then be placed into a college funding plan.  This was accomplished without raising their monthly budget even $1.00.  The funding vehicle used was a high cash value life insurance policy because it is the ONLY place the funds could be placed and be exempt from reporting on the financial aid application.5. We also recommended transferring two rental properties into a Limited Liability Corporation.  This eliminated extensive equity and increased their eligibility for financial aid.  6. As a result we lowered their Expected Family Contribution as calculated by the Dept of Education below $1.000 from being originally over $10,000 per year.  That amounted to a reduction of over $40,000 for 4 years of college.7. They were provided the opportunity for a one hour mentoring meeting with a member of the National Association of College Counselors, NACAC.  They did not avail themselves of this benefit.I am not use why this family has complained.  We did our best to provide them with services for which  hundreds and hundreds of other families have expressed great appreciation.  Respectfully Submitted,[redacted], Certified College Planning Specialist.

I am rejecting this response because:We have reviewed the documents and handwritten notes on the attachments provided by Mr. [redacted]. We still feel that it is w[redacted]g and unethical for his business to keep the full amount of $1995 that we have paid due to all the reasons stated in the details of our complaint/responses. The Service Agreement set for 4 years was cancelled on 09/02/16 (just 33 days after payment was made). We DO NOT agree that the service agreement has been fulfilled. Why would we not be entitled a REFUND???  We again acknowledge that some services have been provided (as stated previously) and we are willing to pay partial.  However, we DO NOT agree that they were worth the full amount of $1995 that we paid.  We are very dissatisfied with this service and are very disappointed that Mr. [redacted] is denying our request. We intend to continue to pursue our effort with this matter until this is resolved and we receive the refund that we st[redacted]gly feel is due to us.  Please advise. Thank you very much!
