[redacted] called 9/6/16 with a request for us to replace glass broken at her residence in Chino Hills. We responded same day, measured and proposed broken glass replaced we ordered the fabrication of three (3) ingulated glass units and upon receipt, we scheduled and installed the glass units on...
9/16/16. The reason for the broken windows was the result of a broken water pipe in the street in front of [redacted]e's house. The debris broke the three windows on the second floor of her home and damaged much of the exterior finish. The install went very well. In addition to the replacement we washed the replacement and the adjacent 2nd story windows per good customer service. I personally swept her 2nd floor interior landing to remove dirt bugs and debris. Some of the exterior vinyl glazing bead/trim was damaged from the pipe explosion. We are a glass company not a window company. We do not in the many trims for vinyl windows. The trim was reinstalled as is, and the glazing was completed and structurally safe. I called [redacted]e today at 9:30 am. She is loud and does not give the opportunity to hear me. I tried to explain that the scope of our work was completed and that she must research the manufacturer of the windows to obtain more glass stop. Our work was completed per our contract and paid I full by [redacted] upon completion. At the end of our telephone conversation [redacted]e did say that she would research a window company to replace the slightly damaged glass stop.Sincerely,[redacted]
