Review: Prices quoted and services promised were not honored regarding a move and cleanout of my house.
Damage was done, many of my belongings are lost and I had to pay for additional sevices from another company to clean up their mess.
They sent someone to my house twice to give me an estimate for the services I required based on the size of the job and then I was charged different rates on the dates of the move.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for the full amount I paid them to compensate me for the lost and damaged items.

Review: We hired College Hunks Moving to move a 2 bedroom apartment from NYC to Westchester Co. They packed us on 2/**/15 and we asked them to take special care - pack, tape, secure, whatever is needed to have safe delivery of 1940's etched Venetian style mirror - "no problem." 2/**/15 - moving day. Again, 2 of us told the crew to take special care of the mirror. I was asked if we wanted "extra coverage insurance" for $62.50 for $12,500 coverage of articles. I purchased it. While still in the apt., my girlfriend witnessed one worker pick up the box and the mirror was dropped and broke. The worker notified supervisor and he checked it - all in front of girlfriend. At delivery point, a supervisor and I opened the box and bubble wrap and found damage; he took pictures with his company camera. I filed a claim and sent another set of pictures, and they did an investigation. I have an email reading that they packed it and others regarding having it repaired. An estimate was faxed (it could not be restored to original) and a week later they reversed their previous position and denied the claim.Desired Settlement: If replacement is available, or appraisal and paid value on appraisal.
