We have sent out a "release form" it needs to be signed, dated and returnedThen I will issue the check

Again, One of us (presumably me) made a mistake scheduling this move. This was an issue for about 5 minutes. I called back to let the customer know we could do the move in the required time frame. After reviewing her inventory for accuracy I informed her that her "guaranteed price" would increase. The customer was unhappy. Stating that the scheduling confusion should be enough for me to move whatever the customer required for the amount stated in her original quote. I offered 2 choices. first to move the original items at the original price or 2, send the movers on an hourly basis. When it became clear to me that there was no reasonable solution, I suggested the customer look elsewhere. We move over 2000 customer a year, my reputation shows that we take their satisfaction as our #1 goal. Some customers we can't find a common ground. For that I am sorry.

The item in question was reported as damaged to me on the day of the move. My movers were told that the piece would not be reported and that I was being informed in case the customer called at a later date. I was called 2 weeks later and I originally scheduled for a repair person to fix the piece....

After seeing the damages he felt that the piece could not be fixed. The customer did not take any additional insurance so as the contract clearly states it would be valued at 60 cents per pound. The damage to the inside of the home was never reported until just recently. I have seen pictures and from them can only determine there is a small amount of minor scrapes and scuffs that in no way could I confidently say it was caused by my movers. The valuation on the furniture piece shown would be between $50-100. I would suggest the highest amount and am willing to offer $100.00

I am rejecting this response because:Unacceptable. I understand you are trying to make yourself appear more professional here, but that isn't the case. In fact, looking through your reviews everywhere online says otherwise. I won't be satisfied until some compensation is made. This business caused me tremendous stress and money (as my husband missed a day of work) and it frustrates me even further that the wrong you did is simply being excused with a "5 minute mistake" remark.
