College Street Auto Tint

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The warranty says lifetime warranty, and does not specify care of windows, They refuse to cover warranty that is bubbling, unsafe to drive and completely discolored! I want someone else who backs up their lifetime warranty to re do at their(college street tint) cost! It is unsafe to drive my vehicle and impossible to pass state inspectionHis warranty as claimed and given proof does not state care of window tint, only the fact it has a lifetime warranty! no stipulations on receipt as previously submitted! he needs to pay for my to have a re tint at another facility that actually backs up the warranty or get sued in a small claims court! I will take it that far and sue him if he does not agree to pay for a re tint at a credible place that actually backsup their warranty! Soo [redacted] take care of it, or I will see you in small claims court! That is my only remedy! Sincerely, [redacted] see attached warranty paperwork that does not show tint details! Yes, we give lifetime warranty on tint jobs, that is a lifetime warranty on the tint That covers cracking, peeling or bubbling , having a tint job in would make that warranty last till about 2004, when he should have noticed the tint was going bad and he needed to bring it in and have it
looked at, not in When he brought it in and said he just started having trouble with it, and the trouble was he had been using a spare on glass cleaner to clean the windows, which we told him when he got the tint job you don't use any kind of cleaner on the window, just soap and water or a wet paper towel So immediately he started saying I was making excuses and was trying to get out of giving him his warranty The warranty does not cover damage of the film, like the clear coat of the film being eaten off the tint from the cleaner he used is neglect on him and for waiting years after the film started getting hard to see out of and nicks in the film which are also not covered Cracking peeling or bubbling that is what the warranty covers We try to accommodate all of our customers, and believe me in years that's a lot I gave him a discounted price on a strip & redo, he said he would call and get an appt Then about weeks ago he comes in again and acts like he's coming in with warranty papers and he talked to me on the phone and we were going to fix it under warranty Except I remembered him from years earlier and I told him the same thing that he didn't have a warranty left on the tint because of neglect and damage to the film And had neglected the warranty for years before that And he just kept arguing with me and arguing with me Finally I just walked back into the shop And then he writes or calls the Revdex.com So I get a letter saying his complaint is about the warranty and the honoring of it When in years you have never received bad review or complaint about our company or warranty because all of our past customers still come here I don't know what he is upset about, he got years out of tint job, that's pretty good from my point of view
