Dear Revdex.com Representative: This letter is in response to complaint ID [redacted] ( [redacted] ) against College Suites at City StationThe customer stated that we would no longer accept personal checks after one (1) of their rent checks bouncedWe requested that they pay via cashier’s check after three (3) NSF rent checks were submitted and returned (7/2015, 8/& 3/2016)The customer stated that, before talking to management, they thought that they were only responsible for half month rent and submitted a check to reflect that amount via personal checkWhen they brought back the correct amount via cashier’s check, they were told by management that they would be refunded for the half month rent that they had already submitted via their personal checkDuring this time they were found to have a dog in their apartment, a violation of the lease with a penalty of $Trying to work with the customer, the manager at the time cut this charge in half, requesting only $for this violationUpon move out at the end of June, management found bleach stains in customer’s apartment that could not be removedBefore charging them for the damages, we first let them borrow our carpet extractor to see if they could get the stains outThey were unsuccessful in removing the stains and full carpet replacement was necessaryOur carpet extractor was also never returned to usIn the customer’s statement they said the apartment had been occupied by a previous resident for two (2) years, however this is not accurateThis apartment had one other tenant, who resided in the apartment from 8/15/12-3/2/(approximately 6-months)As stated by the customer, a refund check was sent to them and was not cashed for days, which at that point voided itAlthough we didn’t have to, but in an effort to work with them, a check in the amount of $was reissued on May 8, Upon further investigation we are ready to refund the customer in the amount of $based on the itemized list belowWe apologize for any inconvenience this has caused the customer and believe this is a fair resolution for allSincerely, Sara [redacted] , Property Manager College Suites at City Station

does not give you rights to stay longer, or move in earlier than the term describedIt is simple set up to be a convenience to the resident, to allow them to pay the amount due over a month periodThere is no pro-ration and no refund necessaryThis was explained both verbally to the complaint and in writing, multiple times

Dear Revdex.com Representative:   This letter is in response to complaint ID [redacted]) against College Suites at City Station. The customer stated that we would no longer accept personal checks after one (1) of their rent checks bounced. We requested that they pay via...

cashier’s check after three (3) NSF rent checks were submitted and returned (7/2015, 8/2015 & 3/2016). The customer stated that, before talking to management, they thought that they were only responsible for half month rent and submitted a check to reflect that amount via personal check. When they brought back the correct amount via cashier’s check, they were told by management that they would be refunded for the half month rent that they had already submitted via their personal check. During this time they were found to have a dog in their apartment, a violation of the lease with a penalty of $300. Trying to work with the customer, the manager at the time cut this charge in half, requesting only $150 for this violation. Upon move out at the end of June, management found bleach stains in customer’s apartment that could not be removed. Before charging them for the damages, we first let them borrow our carpet extractor to see if they could get the stains out. They were unsuccessful in removing the stains and full carpet replacement was necessary. Our carpet extractor was also never returned to us. In the customer’s statement they said the apartment had been occupied by a previous resident for two (2) years, however this is not accurate. This apartment had one other tenant, who resided in the apartment from 8/15/12-3/2/13 (approximately 6-7 months). As stated by the customer, a refund check was sent to them and was not cashed for 120 days, which at that point voided it. Although we didn’t have to, but in an effort to work with them, a check in the amount of $253.74 was reissued on May 8, 2017. Upon further investigation we are ready to refund the customer in the amount of $529.42 based on the itemized list below.
