Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2015/12/10) */
I did buy a snow plow and salt spreader, I paid a $375.00 deposit to hold. I told them I would not be able to pick up until the 23rd of October. On October 22nd I called to ask what the balance was, so I could send a cashiers check. My...

employee never wrote a check, he paid with the cashiers check made out for the amount that they told me was due on October 22nd. He had to pay for everything before they would load him. I talked to my employee and he said there was no problems. Then a week later they said I owe them more money. I responded to this letter two days after I received it and faxed it to XXX-XXX-XXXX, so I don't know who got it or where it went.
Thanks,
[redacted] Construction
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 21, 2015/12/23) */
This is absolutely NOT resolved.
[redacted]' response doesn't even address the concern. He mentions that his employee didn't write the check (which doesn't change anything) and something about sending a fax to a 417 area code phone number that is completely irrelevant. [redacted] still owes for the spreader that he did not pay for. I meticulously spelled out the details on the nature of the business transaction between us. He chose to send a vague response instead of sending us the balance that he owes. He is choosing to exploit an honest mistake by our cashier instead of doing the right thing. Revdex.com should take further action to make this right. If [redacted] doesn't pay the balance he owes, his good standing with the Revdex.com should be revoked and all who have potential business dealings with him should be wary. These are not the actions of an honest person.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 27, 2016/01/05) */
This is my rebuttal for my case, when I called and talked to the business and told them what I was wanting in a salt spreader and snow plow they quoted me a price I then put money down to hold the items until I was able to get a driver to go there and pick the items up. The day before our driver went up there to pick up the items we contacted them to get the exact price so we could go to the bank and send our driver with a certified bank check, our driver showed up the next day with the certified bank check and received a paid invoice from them got loaded up and headed back to my place of business. I the got a call about two weeks later from them asking how the plow was and if I had gotten it all hooked up and they also informed me that they had made a mistake on the invoice and that I owed them more money than they had originally told me, I don't know about this business but in my business when you give a quote you stand by that quote weather it's right or if it's wrong.
Thanks,
[redacted]
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 29, 2016/01/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mr. [redacted] has not offered a resolution.
His response is a mis-direction.
If you re-read my original complaint, it fully explains that he was given accurate pricing for the two items on the initial phone call. These exact prices were advertised to the public in multiple medias, and easily verifiable. He verbally agreed to the original, accurate prices and placed a credit card deposit on the two items. Days later, he called back to get his final amount due including sales tax. At that point, the cashier made a mistake totaling the ticket. The cashier quoted an incorrect final amount due of $4824.70 instead of the amount Mr. [redacted] had verbally agreed to. $5582.07.
I have no proof that Mr. [redacted] agreed to this price, but he knows that he did.
We did not change the quote as he suggests in the final sentence of his "rebuttal". A mistake was made in his favor and he has chosen to keep the money rather than to keep his word.
He owes us $757.37
If anyone reading this is considering doing business with Mr. [redacted], be very cautious! He has proven that he will take advantage of you if he has the chance.
If Mr. [redacted] has a change of heart and decides to do the right thing, I will gladly retract this complaint.
