Mr*** entered into a Buyer Representation Agreement with RE/MAX Results. Our agent, Janine ***, wrote offers for Mr*** on two different properties. She had Mr*** setup on a property search and provided him comps on multiple properties in which he expressed
interest. She also provided him comps on the property he is currently renting. She showed him multiple properties and in some instances showed the properties to him and then on separate occasion, his wife as their schedules did not always coincide. Ms*** and RE/MAX Results provided the services contracted for and Mr***’s allegations are completely false. Mr*** ultimately decided to purchase the home he was renting and informed Mr*** that he did not need her services anymoreShe advised that there was a contract in place and that he was not allowed to unilaterally cancel it. This upset Mr*** as he was hoping to avoid paying the commission due under the Buyer Representation Agreement. If necessary we can provide evidence of the offers written on Mr***’s behalf as well as the additional services performed. Mr*** has alleged that he has left numerous messages for MrCollopy that have gone unreturned. MrCollopy has not received any messages from Mr*** so we are unsure where the messages have been left. We take consumer complaints very seriously as our customers are the life of our business and are very diligent to make every effort to resolve complaints efficiently and completely

A valid contract was entered into between RE/MAX Results and the Complainant.  The contract was explained prior to signature and clearly lays out its terms.  RE/MAX Results provided services to him in accordance with the agreement.  He is simply now trying to purchase a home without having to pay the compensation due under the Contract.  We are under no obligation to agree to terminate the agreement simply because he has requested us to do so. We are willing to assign another agent to work with the complainant in his home search.

Janine only wrote one offer while under contract with me. That offer was for a home listed on white bear ave in white bear lake MN. she set up a property search that automatically sent me properties, this search was set outside of my desired boundaries and this was mentioned to Janine on 2 occassions, never did she adjust it to meet my needs.  She showed me homes while under contract on 1 occasion, the 7th of February.  There was 1 home she had to come back and meet my wife at after showing it to me. however that was due to her own "doctors appointment" not any of our scheduling conflicts. That is how she wanted to do it and so we accomodated her needs.  Ms. [redacted] absolutely DID NOT provide me with a quality service  and calling me a liar is not going to make this resolution an easy one.  When presented with the buyer representation agreement it was explained to me that should I stop working with Ms [redacted] that I could not purchase any of the homes she had shown me without paying a commission but could purchase other properties if I wished to do so. the contract was NEVER represented as being binding even if I wanted to exit. I simply asked Ms [redacted] if she would release us so we could proceed in a new direction, to which she refused because she was aware I was going to be buying a home she had not worked to secure for me, but felt entitled to a commission payment on it. I left multiple messages on Mr Collopys machine as well with his assistant, whom I believe was named Stacy. If I never left any messages then how did Mike [redacted] (regional Manager) get my contact info and reach out to me? Again, Calling me a liar is not the best course of action towards resultion I can provide screenshots of phone records. If resolving complaints was truly a top prioority for your business we would not be here at this point.
