I worked for the company for 9 days and I got a call late that night stating the owner closed the business. I still haven't got paid but some of my other co-workers got paid. And the owner isn't responding to calls about paying the rest of the employees. Its so frustrating because I don't understand why he hired me and shut down the business two weeks later.
Colmed is a joke! Sam A[redacted] is a crook and a manipulative thief! He doesn't care about his employees or the patients that suffer from his ignorance. He robs Peter to pay Paul. He lies to everyone that works there and his customers. He find desperate people to prey on. He doesn't pay anyone but than gets mad if they refuse to work for free. He sucks his management in to believe everything he says and they become just as corrupt as he is! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY whether you are an employee or a patient.. you will get screwed over by this evil place and even more evil man!
The only reason this crap company is in business is because he doesn't pay his employees or his bills! We came to work on many occasions with the electricity to the whole building off because he hadn't paid his bill! He charges customers things they didn't pay for! There is hidden charges in ALL of the patients bills! Sam Akers is a liar and a thief! Do not do business with this company and DO NOT WORK THERE! You will regret it and will be working for free and never see that money! He avoids even coming to the office because he knows what he's doing to everyone there! He's pathetic and the company is a hell hole. A woman got sexually harassed and then they fired the woman because Jeff is a supervisor and the husband of Sue who is a manager! So they fired Ramona! This is a sad place! Beware!
Extremely Poor customer service. Visited this location 2 separate times to do a very simple drug test, the first day, I was informed that the ONLY person in the ENTIRE medical laboratory who was able to perform this was out sick. Since this is a reasonable situation, I inquired weather they would be available the next day, and was told that there WOULD BE A PROFESSIONAL ON THE PREMISES WHO COULD PERFORM THE TEST. I arrived the next day and was told AGAIN that there was nobody in the building who could accommodate me, and when I spoke with what appeared to be another medical researcher of some sort, rather than the clerk, she rudely claimed that the person was out on emergency/business/personal (several DIFFERENT excuses used over the course of the conversation) and would not be available until later in the day. Since I was leaving town, that was unacceptable and I could not return. I went to do an incredible simple procedure twice, and the company was unable to accommodate both times, and was unwilling to even communicate this to the company that I needed the drug test for to explain that it would not be me at fault for failure to complete a test, but the company, COLMED Medical Labratories, Inc.
