Colmex Auto sales

We have already made it known to Mr. [redacted] that we have his registration, as can be corroborated by his neighbor, who had been given permission and pre-arranged with Mr. [redacted] and Colmex Auto, to come by and pick up the document and send it out to Texas. It has also been made known to Mr. [redacted] ... that there is now an issue that needs to be resolved between himself and his now former neighbor, since it has been brought to our attention that Mr. [redacted] gave an address that he had not been given permission to use on the registration in question. Mr. [redacted] called Colmex and claimed he had spoken to his neighbor and explained to him that he would take care of the change of address upon the registration's arrival to him in Texas. However, after speaking to the neighbor and his wife this morning upon opening and reading the email from the BBB explaining the complaint made by Mr. [redacted] , we have learned that no such arrangement has been made, and we have not been given authorization by the neighbor, who's address was used without permission, to send it to Mr. [redacted] , until an address change has taken place. We have already explained to both Mr. [redacted] and his neighbor that this issue needs to be resolved between the two of them, as we are not in a position to decide who's address can or cannot be used. The neighbor and his spouse had said they would visit the DMV yesterday, but when speaking to them earlier, they said that DMV's system was down (something which happens quite often), and that the line was out and around the building, so they would return tomorrow. We would also like to have this issue resolved ASAP, as well, but we cannot legally send a registration to a customer when it is known to have an address that was used without permission. All we need is to have an address change from the customer and the neighbor so that a new registration is issued with the correct address. Once we receive confirmation that this has taken place, we can release the current document, as the address on it will have officially been changed in the DMV's system, and the new one is being processed. Colmex Auto is doing what it can to protect both the customer and his neighbor, as well as ourselves, by letting all parties involved know that they must visit the DMV in order to resolve this dispute involving the address on the registration. Should Mr. [redacted] 's report of sale expire before this is resolved, he only needs to visit the DMV to let them know he needs proof of registration, which will be on file. Should Mr. [redacted] be asked for proof of registration by law enforcement, his vehicle is on file as being registered to him, should they need to verify. Mr*** has been notified what needs to take place in order to resolve the issueHe continually blames Colmex for the information that was put on the registration, disrespecting and badmouthing myself, my coworkers, and the dealership as a whole, yet doesn't acknowledge the fact, when told to him, that any information that was used on any of the paperwork, contracts and registration, was explained to him, at which point, he SIGNED THE PAPERWORK, ACKNOWLEDGING THAT HE FULLY UNDERSTOOD THE CONTRACTS AND AGREED TO ABIDE BY THE AGREEMENTS SET FORTH IN THE CONTRACTSMr*** has also alleged that he and his neighbor have come to an agreement about having the registration taken care of as soon as Mr*** receives it in TexasHowever, on 3/23/2017, the neighbor and his wife visited the dealership and confirmed that Mr***'s statement is falseTHe neighbor has already visited the DMV and was instructed on what to do to fix the registration and have his address removedIt should also be noted that if Mr***'s 'Report of Sale' is not yet expired, which it is not, then we are under NO OBLIGATION to send him any documents that are still being processed in order to ensure that they are all correctWe have no problem doing our part to help he and his neighbor resolve this issue, but we are unable to do so when we are continually given untrue statements by Mr***We've given Mr*** instructions on how to fix it online and always maintained ourselves in a professional, mature manner while doing so, but the same can not be said about Mr***, as the attached images will showThis dealership went above and beyond for Mr*** so that he was able to purchase his vehicle well below the asking price, as well as going against our own policies in holding the vehicle for him when he couldnt buy the vehicle right awayHe was happy to accept our help at that time, and despite his attempt to falsify information on his registration, we have still attempted to help in with situationHis refusal to accept our help and his verbal attacks on us, personally and professionally, do not obligate us to do more than we are already doing, at this point in time, and have cut off communication with Mr*** unless it's through this siteHis neighbor and the neighbor's wife are in the process of having the registration corrected, after which, Mr*** will be receiving said registration

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did not forward my correct response in regards to my issue with Colmex Auto Sales. Upon purchase of the vehicle, I informed the salesman, [redacted] that I was moving to Texas and that my neighbor would either pick up or have my registration and tags mailed to his address and he would mail it out to me as I trusted him to do so. I never gave Colmex the authority to use his address as my own and in their extreme incompetence and after numerous calls from me in regards to this matter as I had not received anything from them nor my neighbor as we had both been waiting on this. I gave them my new Texas address as I would be reregistering my car out here, but needed the paperwork to do so. This issue upset my former neighbor and after speaking to him, understood that the fault is with Colmex and their utter incompetence in this matter.A side note is that during purchase, the so called salesman [redacted] informed us that this was his 1st solo sale, obviously he needs more practice as he fails miserably at his job. I am now told that I will not be receiving my tags and registration as the wrong address was used, an address I will add again was not to be used as my address, only to be mailed to.
