Nice folks until you pay and leave.
Shop elsewhere or you will get ROBBED!.
If you buy new and ask to sell back in just a month they offer a 30 plus % loss for u. Markup is just robbery.
Not nice at all if u have a problem and need to sell back.
Worst rip off of anything I've ever bought
I have a friend that wanted a new one and asked if he should buy from them. Told him my experience and he bought a new one and got a great price in N Carolina. He's very glad he listened. I will never recommend these folks.

Review: Although the category above is "Service Issues" my complaint involves most if not all categories the Revdex.com addresses: sales, service, etc. We can only select one. During December 2013 we purchased a brand new 2014 Winnebago ERA from Colonial. It is important to know that Colonial operates under multiple names and entities: Colonial RV, Colonial Auto Mall, Colonial Airstream, Colonial Itasca, etc. Please know they are all the same company. For the most basic service items, Colonial has forced us to chase them for many months at our expense and with many hours wasted. To date, these issues have not been resolved. We signed the purchase docs and their ability to be productive immediately disappeared. Their sales function proved to be untrustworthy and their service function proved to be incapable. We have dozens of emails and incontrovertible documentation to support these facts. We presently have a new Winnebago RV that has ruined the only two family vacations we used it for. Many thousands of dollars are down the drain. Our family will no longer travel in the Winnebago out of concern for continued vehicle issues while on the road and the dread that we will again be at the mercy of a service network that can't get things fixed. We have plenty more to add but wanted to keep this brief and simple. My family is astonished that we, after months of responsible discussion, due diligence and analysis, spent almost a $100,000 on a vehicle that is essentially a tent on wheels with a world of problems. Plus it comes with a service network only interested in delaying and keeping us vulnerable. We have had a sobering view into this dealership's practices. We painfully learned that the "reliable and supportive RV service and support network" we were sold by Colonial is most definitely not in place. And buying a new RV did not help us avoid lists of time consuming repairs. Legal action seems the only way to bring resolution to this situation.Desired Settlement: The only way for Colonial to begin making us whole for this situation is to buy back our Winnebago RV. If they are willing to make us whole in a way that ends all the hassle promptly we would like them to refund the price we paid for the RV plus the tax we paid. If Colonial wants to continue this horrible experience then there are additional expenses Colonial will need to cover.

Response:

Since the complaint, all issues have been resolved and customer has picked up unit in working condition. Colonial Airstream picked up the customers unit from their residence, resolved all issues and went over all repairs upon customers pickup.

I am rejecting this response because: Colonial never resolved the issues to my satisfaction and legal action was pursued. It should be noted that Colonial ignored the Revdex.com complaint for about a year and a half before submitting their response, which is untrue and not applicable to the situation.

Review: Before buying an RV I spoke to the General Manager.

I wanted to know about selling back the RV if I needed and fair buy back prices.

He ASSURED me they would buy it back at a fair price.

Health forces me to not be able to use it so just a few months after buying it I called to sell it back. I was offered $34,000 less than I paid which is over 33% loss. I was told however that they had too much inventory and couldn't buy it at that time.

Second attempt (a year after buying), I was offered $20,000 less than last time but told again, they had too much inventory and couldn't buy it at that time but try to get my son to take over notes.

Nothing but huge over price to buy and predicated on lies. They have lied too me and proven to be a very dishonest dealership.Desired Settlement: All I asked is for them to but it back at a fair price. I trusted them and well overpaid to begin with but the dishonesty is very disturbing

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

The GM called me today and offered a fair resolution> It's a reasonable and acceptable deal.> If you could remove my complaint I would be grateful.> Thank you> Ken Parker
