I called this firm in response to a Valu Coupon, concerning a toilet leak I called the firm who stated the tech must first submit a written estimate The tech, ***, came out & looked at the problem He said we really needed a new toilet, and I agreed, since we'd had problems with it before & it was old He said it'd cost $We asked for itemized materials & labor They say they don't do thatI said we wanted an upgrade He said that'd cost $ He refused to give a written estimateI asked what we would get for that & he insisted on only saying "it'll be good" - nothing more He left for an hour & came back with a toilet to install He never said what it would be When he had finished installing it he presented me with a bill for $ This was the first & only written document, still not showing what model of toilet was installed I wrote a check, but two days later decided we'd been had, so I called the firm ***, the receptionist, said she'd give me the 10% coupon discount as well as a senior citizens discount for a total of $ I said given the lack of service, etc, I'd ask for say $ She said I'd have to talk to ***, the owner & that he'd call He never called I did call back next day [redacted] said he'd think about it & get back with me He never did, so I called back, stating I'd like to resolve this so I'd take the $offer [redacted] said "no way" & he'd charge $I went ahead & paid that, even though I'm convinced it is unfair & excessive In the end I discovered could have gone to Lowe's or Home Depot & had them install the same thing for $less I requested they honor their coupon several times & they still refused They appear to not like itemized labor & materials in order to hide the excessive "commission" they are charging From my experience, as above described, this firm is unreliable & shady, in my opinion Don't use them unless you have a lot of extra money to throw down the toilet

I called this firm in response to a Valu Coupon, concerning a toilet leak. I called the firm who stated the tech must first submit a written estimate. The tech, [redacted], came out & looked at the problem. He said we really needed a new toilet, and I agreed, since we'd had problems with it before & it was old. He said it'd cost $500. We asked for itemized materials & labor. They say they don't do that. I said we wanted an upgrade. He said that'd cost $600. He refused to give a written estimate. I asked what we would get for that & he insisted on only saying "it'll be good" - nothing more. He left for an hour & came back with a toilet to install. He never said what it would be. . When he had finished installing it he presented me with a bill for $698. This was the first & only written document, still not showing what model of toilet was installed. I wrote a check, but two days later decided we'd been had, so I called the firm. [redacted], the receptionist, said she'd give me the 10% coupon discount as well as a senior citizens discount for a total of $585. I said given the lack of service, etc, I'd ask for say $550. She said I'd have to talk to [redacted], the owner & that he'd call. He never called. I did call back next day. [redacted] said he'd think about it & get back with me. He never did, so I called back, stating I'd like to resolve this so I'd take the $585 offer. [redacted] said "no way" & he'd charge $650. I went ahead & paid that, even though I'm convinced it is unfair & excessive.

In the end I discovered could have gone to Lowe's or Home Depot & had them install the same thing for $150 less. I requested they honor their coupon several times & they still refused. They appear to not like itemized labor & materials in order to hide the excessive "commission" they are charging.
From my experience, as above described, this firm is unreliable & shady, in my opinion. Don't use them unless you have a lot of extra money to throw down the toilet.

Had a semi-emergency plumbing issue when my regular plumber was out of town. I call Plumbing Experts and the associate answering my call explained the mobilization fee and I agreed to pay for that. The technician arrived within the hour, assessed the problem and found that he did not have the proper part to repair the issue, but instead, took out a 5" piece of teflon plumbers tape, stopped the leaking and gave me a bill for $167.99. Really? Don't use this company unless you are extremely wealthy and out of all other options.

Customer beware! I called Plumbing Experts, Inc. to resolve a slow draining tub. The plumber responded and when the snake did not work he poured a professional strength "Liquid Plumr" and that seemed to clear out the problem. While I did not feel comfortable paying $200 for a "Liquid Plumr" treatment, I was glad the tub was draining again. By afternoon of the following day, I noticed the tub was draining slower than the previous day. By the next day, within 48 hours, my problem had completely returned. Believing that the service was under warranty for 30 days, I called and was told I would have to pay a service fee along with any new repairs since I had not called within "24 hours." Upon reviewing my invoice, I noted why I was misled to believe I had a 30 day warranty as "30 days" was stated twice in the first sections and "24 hours" once in the last section. Even though I was calling so close to the date of the service indicating that it was obviously not a new stoppage was of no relevance to the customer service rep "[redacted]."
