First I have to apologize for taking so long to get this straightened out I have not had this situation occur before or since and so I needed to look into what happened and how your order was overlooked at the last moment After looking into it further I note that my system of maintaining the orders' status may be faulty Your order is not finalized for preparing and delivery until it is paid in full As we discussed I don't deliver wedding orders if they are not paid in full prior to the wedding date Because yours was not paid in full at the time of the wedding it was not placed in the section to be prepared and delivered I realize we did inconvenience you at best by delivering the available cupcakes late I also note that they were what was available not what was ordered I understand you would like a refund for your depositI am not charging you for the cupcakes that were delivered which had a value of Your deposit was $which I will send you in a check today additionally I will include a $gift card for you to use in the future We have revamped our system and this will not happen again Again I apologize for the problems and the delay in responding

Review: I ordered particular flavors and designs of wedding cupcakes from this business and paid a deposit for the cupcakes in the amount of $150.00 on 5/14/14. The wedding was on 10/5/14, and on 9/16/14 I sent an email to the owner of this business requesting the remaining balance amount for my account so that we could pay the remainder after the deposit off before the wedding. I never received a reply to that email and sent several more emails requesting the same information. My wedding day came and my specific cupcakes were not delivered as agreed upon before the wedding started. When we were able to get a hold of the owner, she delivered the cupcakes that she had on hand from her shop an hour into to the reception, which caused a disruption of the event and a delay of the reception activities, as well as not delivering the cupcakes that I specifically ordered. Since the wedding (3 months ago), I have contacted the business multiple times with no luck of getting our deposit refunded. My calls and messages go unreturned. I contacted the store on 10/16/14 twice, 10/17/14, 12/5/14 twice, 12/10/14 twice, 12/16/14, and 12/23/14.Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of $150 for the deposit of the cupcakes that were ordered and not delivered.
