We used colonial fence to install a diamond three rail fence on our property. The quality was great and they completed the work on time and on budget, in accordance with the fully written estimate.
We had requested three different estimates and Colonial fence came back to re-estimate when I questioned them as to their low price. Bill (owner) was very nice to work with and his team was great.
Review: Completed $6000 fencing job. Gate on fence needs continual adjustment. Fence is coming loose/sagging. The service provider will not call back to schedule/fix the problem. In addition, I asked that Colonial Fence call me to let me know if they would fix the gate or not so that I could hire someone else. Since the provider is local, it would be nice if he backed his work and adjusted the gate as needed. Currently it is crooked and not hung correctly and needs adjustementDesired Settlement: I would like the provider to adjust the gate when needed. He states that the gate will need adjusting from time to time. He already adjusted the gate once. In addition, he installed a second gate and I had to call him repeatedly to finish the job.
Review: I had about $10,000 worth of fencing installed by Colonial fence in the summer of 2011 at my home in [redacted] CT. I have called them numerous times and sent numerous emails to Colonial Fence over the past 3 months to come fix a gate that is under warranty. I have not been contacted at any time during this period by Colonial fence. I believe the level of customer service they are providing me is beyond terrible.
