not be reached after numerous attempts. He finally called and ask to pay on the 15th, due to other obligations. We agreed that he could pay on June 15th. June 15th came and went, and the client never sent payment. After numerous attempts to contact, we finally reached the client and received payment on June 19th. After not receiving payment on July 7th, we began attempting to contact the dient by telephone with no success. We never received any communication from the client, and on July 31, 24 days after the due date we repossessed the vehicle. I am co-owner of the business, and I personally spoke with the client the following day when he called to discuss his situation. The dient wanted to speak with someone else. I offered to have my partner call him, which at that time he told me he would not be picking the vehide up. He elected to come and pickup his belongings out of the vehide. This is never the outcome we want to have. We want to sell vehides, not pick them back up. We went out of our way to accommodate the dient. There was no communication on his end. After 24 days of no communication we felt we had no other choice. The client is still able to pick the vehicle up, but he will be required to pay the monies owed. [redacted] Vice-President

Review: I purchased a vehicle on 6/22/14. It had a June inspection sticker on it. Less than months after I purchased it I had the vehicle taken to a mechanic because of a grinding noise. I was told that the car had no brake pads on it. It was nothing but metal. The state inspector said it never should have been passed. I have a 90 warranty from [redacted]. The form has "as is" scratched out and 90 day warranty written on it. When I called to have this issue taken care of I was told by [redacted] that his boss would not be offering an assistance. But he did offer to pay Hal of the $120 cost to put brake pads on it. This was a serious safety issue and complete negligence on the part of the car dealership to sell a car without brake pads and I feel it should be covered by the dealer.Desired Settlement: $120.95 repair costs to be covered by dealer

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

I am writing in response to ID [redacted]. The vehicle in question was sold "As Is" on 6/22/2014 with a 90 day [redacted]. A Virginia Safety Inspection was performed on 6/18/2014, which was only 4 days prior to the sale. Every vehicle sold has a Virginia Safety Inspection performed. We are not a Virginia Inspection Station, and do not perform the inspections. We would never neglect to get the inspection as it is against the law. On 6/18/2014, the vehicle in question passed the safety inspection. Ordinary we would not cover a maintenance issue after a sale. However, we do attempt to satisfy all customers. With this in mind, we did offer to cover half of the customer's expense. If there are any questions concerning this matter, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Review: We purchased a [redacted] with the understanding that this vehicle had a brand new motor, only to discover after words that the motor was rebuilt. We would not have purchased this vehicle for $21381.00 knowing that we were not getting a brand new motor in it. The salesman was very specific to tell us that the motor had been replaced 6 months ago with only 10,000 miles on it.Desired Settlement: In order to rectify this Colonial Heights Auto Center needs to refund us for the value that would be in a brand new motor, $3500.00.

Review: My vehicle was repossessed. I was two weeks late. this happen on a Thursday and like normal people I get paid on Friday. When I called the company. I was told to pay my monthly car note $200.00 plus $600.00 for towing. Before my vehicle was repoed, I did not receive a phone call and after the repo I could not speak with the owner/manager. Without a vehicle I have to walk 8 miles to work. Please help me resolve this problem. Down payment was $1500.00Desired Settlement: refund my down payment or I can make monthly payment $200.00 and finish paying off the vehicle.
