I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]There was no resolution offered The vet office states that I do not understand their offer, however I do understand What I still cannot offer them is a phone number and an address as I do not have an address_ I am currently homeless and I am living in a student dorm/ or with a friend during the school year I just do not have an address The *** as well as all other vet clinics are charging me extreme amounts of money to re-establish care, and I do not have this money! Even if the colonial heights office forwards my records, I still have to establish care through basic assesments/ lab work etc No amount of 'record forwarding' will help I request the same exact items I requested in initial letter I do not have hundreds of dollars to start care over again and I need medication for my dog on a monthly basis Without medication, my dog is in danger and I need help! I already paid this clinic hundreds of dollars in September and the lab work they day/ and assessments they did , they said in September this would take care of the medications for him through a year I need help, and I do not have money to start care over again, The vet did not propose any correction I just need them to refill my dogs prescriptions as they promised in September, and refund the money that I gave them in september as they promised care for a year and are no longer fulfilling their promise
Regards,

[redacted] was divorced from this Clinic due to the fact that we felt we were unable to communicate with her in a fashion that would result in the best medical care for her pets. This decision was not made lightly but due to a number of communication issues we sent a...

certified letter explaining this along with a request for release of medical records. We explained that we would be happy to furnish the Veterinarian of her choice any medical information requested along with being available by phone to them if needed. All mail was returned to us undeliverable. We did refill a script for MS [redacted] for [redacted] in Oct. 2014 and explained the above to her, also requesting an address and a phone number so we could resend the above information. MS [redacted] stated at that time she did not have an address or phone number. I again stated that she should find another veterinarian that would provide a more comfortable communication avenue for her. She has continued to call us and we have continued to explain this all to her, but apparently she still does not understand the communications we have had with her.The first of the year MS [redacted] requested that we fax her records to the Richmond [redacted] for one of her pets which we have done.If any further information is needed please let me know.

Review: I brought my Cocker Spaniel to this Vet. clinic for annual exam, and blood work in September 2014. Blood work and assessment required more money than I can realistically afford, yet it was 'needed' by this clinic, so the vet. could prescribe seizure medications for the dog. The blood work (per the vet. clinic) would need to be done once per year, and they would be able to prescribe medications for the dog for the next full year- as they had done the assessment and blood work. The date of this health assessment and blood work was approximately September 2014.

The clinic wrote a prescription for the medication for my dog for one month. Zero refills.

During the months that followed my dogs appointment in September, I have lost my job, I have been living in various housing as able. I am currently enrolled as a student, and I struggle for care for myself and my dogs.

At the end of the prescription for my dogs medication (In October 2014), I called the vet. clinic and asked them to refill the prescription. I was told they would no longer see me, nor my dogs, nor would they prescribe the medication that My dog needs to prevent seizures.

This is absolutely NOT what they told me in September! I do not have the money to start care and assessment for my dog at another vet, I just don't have the money. I have given ALL of my money to the Colonial Heights Animal clinic in September, I do not have the money to restart care somewhere else. The clinic has offered to 'Forward' my dogs records, however all vet. clinics that I call are asking me to bring my dog in for 'reassessment' and re-do the blood work (even with the forwarded records) and I do not have the hundred + dollars to get this done.

Currently, I am splitting my dogs remaining medication in quarters. He is having tremors, ticks, and jerks. I do not know what to do, I need care for my dog and I have given this clinic all of my money. I have given the clinic my money and trusted them to care for my dogs. And I have called dozens of times, I have asked them to please see me/ or see my dog/ or just call in a prescription for the medication which they promised when I gave them my money in September. I need care for my dog. I am not proud of the situation I am in, I admit I am often stressed and anxious, but my dogs do not deserve to have this lack of care.

I paid for the care, I gave them all of my money, and I just need a prescription! This is crazy, and I need care for my dog as I have already paid them for this.Desired Settlement: I would like: 1) Continued prescriptions for my dogs seizure medication for the full year following the blood work which was drawn 2) Refund of the assessment and blood work I had done in September, as they are not honoring care for the dog which I had paid for, as they will not see me/ nor my dog, and I was told in September that the assessment and blood work I paid for in september would cover his 'annual exam and assessments' for a year 3) I would like an apology, as this is completely uncalled for, I would like the dogs to be able to return to this vet, even if I don't accompany the dogs I would be willing to have my dogs go to this clinic with another person. This clinic has knowledge of my dogs, and is able to treat the cardiac issues/ and various other issues that my dogs have. I have paid this clinic hundreds and hundreds of dollars over the last year for the care of my dogs. I do not have this money to start all these assessments over in another clinic.

My own anxiety and lack of a home should not affect my dogs like this, this clinic is treating me and my dogs unfairly and without just cause.
