Stay far away from Colonial Moving if your can They give estimates over the phone - they do not actually come to view the contentsAlbeit this should have been a "red flag" for me, as the other moving companies I had provide quotes came to my home to complete inventoryBut basically all weight measures are based on averages - very misleading So my estimate did not equal the fine bill They refused to give me paper work on the "weight" of my contents, refused to give me copies of the paper work, etc I was at their mercy because they already had my contents on the truckTheir customer service and communication is so lacking I have no words to describe itThey sub-contract to packers and deliver personal-albeit I really had no issues with these groupsThey do not stand behind anything and everything is the "customers fault or lack of understanding" I can not stress how bad my move experience was I will be filing a complaint with both the Revdex.com and the Government Interstate moving commission Regardless if Colonial bids lowest - stay away is my recommendation

They delivered my stuff timely and unharmed - all wrapped in blankets or film, if not boxed.
All the men were professional and courteous.

So, honest, careful, fast and nice, what's not to like there?
