The customer brought a non working device into our repair shopWe did our best to try to fix the device at our local shopWe were unable to fix and explained that the issue with the device required board level soldering and that we do not have the proper equipmentWe kindly offered to send the device to another repair shop, [redacted] in [redacted] which we have worked with for yearsExplained to the customer that this is not a guaranteed fix and there will be a non refundable diagnosis fee through the company that sent the device to and the customer agreedAccording to [redacted] , the device was not able to be repaired because of other components failing on the mother board of the deviceThe device was then sent back to us and the customer was notified that the device was not able to be repairedThe customer refuses to pay the $diagnosis fee that [redacted] charged us

I spoke with the manager and a few of the techs at the shop and put the story togetherAfter speaking with them I found that *** is a different customer than whom I thought I was dealing withWe are comfortable providing her compensation for the phone Please let me know how much was paid for the new phone from *** and what the $is for. Thanks

Hello, This is percent not true...my daughter's device was never sent out...they did enough damage to the phone at the location It was not non working, the screen was cracked, so we brought the phone in to have the cracked screen repaired Yes, they offered to send it out after making the phone non working....I simply refused, as I was starting to sense a scam and we took the phone to the *** *** I have a receipted from the *** *** date the same day I bought this phone in to fixed the cracked screen as I had to purchase a new device when all I should have had to pay for was a cracked screen I am not refusing to pay the $fee as the phone was never sent out Thank you!

Thank you!  I appreciate it.  $329. is the cost that [redacted] charged me for the replacement phone, $149 is what they would have charged to replace the cracked screen on this iPhone.  However, considering the phone was unusable and unrepairable at the point I brought it in, they could not just replace the cracked screen.  The difference in cost was $180.  I have provided copies of the receipt I was provided from [redacted].
