Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The online registration states that it is in US funds but the merchandise signage at the event does not indicate thatFurthermore, when I paid in cash there was no conversion, the conversion only occurred when I paid with a credit card which is unfair to myself and other individuals who prefer credit or debit cardsWhen I purchased color bombs for $I paid $CDN but when I purchased $of items through credit I pay US funds? Unacceptable, inconsistent and misleading business practiceI look forward to receiving the cheque however, I hope that this is rectified for future Canadian events even though I will be reconsidering attending them in the future Sincerely, Monica B***

I am rejecting this response because:The online registration states that it is in US funds but the merchandise signage at the event does not indicate that. Furthermore, when I paid in cash there was no conversion, the conversion only occurred when I paid with a credit card which is unfair to myself and other individuals who prefer credit or debit cards. When I purchased 4 color bombs for $10 I paid $10 CDN but when I purchased $139 of items through credit I pay US funds? Unacceptable, inconsistent and misleading business practice. I look forward to receiving the cheque however, I hope that this is rectified for future Canadian events even though I will be reconsidering attending them in the future.

We sincerely apologize for this miscommunication and our error. Our merchandise signage and the online registration both mention that charges are conducted in USD, but we can always do better at ensuring there is no confusion with our customers. We are continually working towards ensuring...

the greatest level of satisfaction in all of our participants, and will continue to do so and investigate ways in which we can diminish these miscommunications. We have sent out a refund check to the participant and will use their feedback to better our event experience in the future.
