Since Color Tex refused to ship my curtains back without approval of the color, I sent someone to Brooklyn to see the curtains She approved the color with Color Tex and sent the curtains to meUpon arrival of the curtains, I rehung them and was shocked that the curtains had SHRUNK so much It looks like they were washed in hot water! The length of the curtains when I sent them was inches The curtains were returned to me at a length of inchesObviously, the width of the panels were also much narrower I could work with the width, but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about the missing lengthAlso, one of the panels was damaged It looks like it was "eaten" by some kind of machinery! It could probably be resewn at some expense Also, all of the pleats at the curtain tops are damaged and all need to be reenforced at the seamsNeedless, to say I am not at all satisfied with the treatment I've received from Color TexThe curtains in there current shape are of no use to me at all

To Whom It May Concern: This letter is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] against Color Tex Inc. The complainant claims that promises made by Color Tex Inc., to dye her garment and finish it in a timely manner , was...
not met. She also states that she called and spoke to [redacted], the owner of the company, and was told empty promises. All these above charges are false, since [redacted] became aware of this problem only after receiving a letter from the Revdex.com. [redacted] sent in her curtains on Dec 9 but we didn’t receive it until a few days later. She also sent it in during holiday season. During this season all goods are delayed since we have business closure. Since her curtains where already dyed by someone else we had to do a different process of since they have to be over-dyed. This process takes a little longer and more difficult. This process is also more prone in having difficulties during the dyeing. Unfortunately her goods were delayed since there was a problem. On February [redacted], had sent someone down for inspection and it was approved. The goods were paid for and picked up. We are confident that you will review this claim in a fairly manner and are awaiting your response. Thank you very much. Respectfully yours, [redacted]
I made arrangements with Mr. J.C[redacted] to have 6 windows of egg shell colored drapes dyed tan to wheat color. Talked to him several times and sent samples of curtain to be dyed including sample of the color I wanted. He said , "I can do it". I didn't expect to get a perfect color. I spent over $100 to have then sent to N.Y. He notified me the drapes were finished and they turned out ok. He sent me a picture and they looked almost the egg shell color I had before. The 2 large boxes arrived. I was excited, until to my surprise, the curtains were green. I mean green, the color of over cooked peas. The length had shrunk 5-6 inches. No offer of apology or refund of over $450. After sending photos, he says, "I don't know how that happened". Don't waste your money or time with dishonest people.

The response by Color Tex is just a continuation of many lies. Do they honestly think I would send items to them if I had been told they would shrink 7 inches?
It's just a ridiculous defense that I can't even grasp it! When I originally spoke with Color Tex re this project he mentioned no risk at all, not damage or shrinkage. He just kept telling me, "[redacted] [redacted]"
The curtains are of no use to me in the condition they were returned.
