Re:Dorsey School of Beauty Madison Heights, MI I called and schedule an appointment for a Gel Manicure and a polish change on my toesI was greeted promptly at the front desk and was told that they were setting up for my appointment My appointment was scheduled for 4:P.Mand I arrived on time I was call to the front desk and was told the amount owed $(no service yet) which I paid this was my first mistake I was finally taken back for my manicure (4:P.M.) I found that the student MsSolomon had never done a manicure no less a gel manicure before The instructor MsRosie told her what to do and then left the room, I know this is a teaching facility but the student did not have a clue what to do Since I already had gel polish on my fingernails, they wrapped my nails with polish remover and wrapped in foil By the way I got remover on my shirt I was then taken over to the pedicure chair for the student to remove my polish and polish my toes, this procedure took about an 1-1/to complete (not very good job) By this time I still had gel on my nails then the Instructor attempted to remove polish again without success By this time it is now 6:P.M The instructor MsRosie did pop in again and told the student to file off the rest of the gel polish?? Need I say this was a slow process and did not work, so at this point I just cut my losses and left with a bad pedicure and gel polish still on my fingernails So I paid $for a polish change and partial removal of my gel polish I do not blame the student as she was there to learn and did the best she could, however, the instructor was terrible and did not help the student much at all I can say that this was a learning experience for me When I left MsRosie had not returned to help the student, or to check on me the client She was more worried about messing up her gel polish on her fingernails This was my first and last time of going to a learning school for any type of services Very disappointed customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
