to confirm what insurance benefits will be covered by this visit. We provide this insurance verification as a service to our patients, prior to their visit. This information is also available to the patient by calling their insurance company’s benefits line. Our goal is to inform our patient as to what services at Colorado Allergy and Asthma will cost. We have found being transparent with our pricing prior to the initial visit is our best practice. However, we can’t know prior to the visit if the patient will require testing and to what extent. We are sorry you felt this process was unsatisfactory, but we have learned that most patients are wanting to know what the services will cost before the testing, as opposed to getting a bill after the testing and not knowing the entire cost.
