As you can see the $was as an apology for the horrific treatment and subpar service The mats will cost $and $83.00, that is for the Manufacturer mats and cargo mat destroyed by Metro I paid $to replace the black mays that were also destroyed I am out of pocket $to wash the car after picking it up, I was unable to see out the windshield for the water spots I did have the car inspected again and it cost $ I paid $160.00+ for the car to be detailed!Nobody seems to be able to correct the behaviors of Metro They are terrible to deal with and they are subpar This dealership not only caused the damage as detailed but they sent me out on tires, one of which was ready to blow I am attaching the tire report from *** ***, done the very day I left that shop. There has NOT been even an apology from Metro, from Corporate, yes, but even they said, I had to recover my damages directly from the dealership that caused the problem This is why I have contacted the Revdex.com I think that there have been others harmed by the same issues I encountered I cannot prove it but the attitude that Metro has acted upon appears to be one that is sure that they have nothing to worry about. Our only income is my husband's social security, the amounts may not amount to much in the eyes of another, they are substantial to us We had to save up for quite a while to pay for the service and the detail The windshield was covered by the company that caused the damage and the *** was rectified by a *** service person I tried to stop Metro from doing ANY of the work as soon as Friday, August 28th (I think), *** *** contacted ** *** of *** and stated that He, *** and Metro could certify the *** equipment Metro could NOT, I asked that *** call and correct the statement This is when the campaign to diatribe on me started It did not stop and I did absolutely NOTHING to cause any of it

The recall or Campaign called “BXD” has specific instructions and deals specifically with the rear crossmember of the TundraAs such we have to follow those Toyota guidelines when performing that CampaignThe area of inspection does NOT include the forward sections of the frame (in this
case the worst corrosion is where the front bumper mounts to the frame)The areas of the frame that Toyota's guidelines specify to be sprayed after the replacement of the crossmember as was done on the Tundra in this case are specific only to the rear area of the frameThe additional areas that were sprayed over could slow the corrosion process as a bonus in those unrelated areas.. This Tundra was purchased by the current owner around April of The Campaign or recall that relates to the balance of the frame (i.ethe front sections) was an inspection completed in by another Toyota facility, and at that time it passed their inspectionWe at Metro Toyota have attempted to help the current owner with Toyota corporate to present his concerns about the condition of his frame, however their obligations were satisfied with the inspection in Thank you for your time in this matter

This guest brought the vehicle in for the replacement of the windshield that was broken by debris falling off a high rise building in ClevelandDuring the time the vehicle was at our shop she requested the vehicle to be detailed inside and outThe "** ***" mirror she reffers to was an aftermarket
addition which she had added to the vehicle by an outside facilityThe mirror essentially is a cell phone wired into the vehicle for the purpose of emergency contact in the event of the needThe mirror was attached to the windshield by the same method as the factory mirror (mounted to a metal button that is adhered to the inside of the windshield)The wiring to the mirror did NOT need to be disturbed in order to replace the windshield, thus not disturbing the functionality of the "** ***"When many of us attempted to explain this to the guest, she became very irrational as she did during multiple contactsThe vehicle's floor mats WERE dirty upon beginning the detail process, we have a steam cleaner that was used in the proces to attempt to clean the interior including the matsNot every stain will come out during this process; thus the stains that remainedI explained to the guest at the time of picking up the vehicle to keep the mats out of the vehicle to allow them and the carpet to dry out, that the mats being placed back in the vehicle would retain moisture and thus promote an odorThe employees we have at Metro Toyota are very accomodating and with the less than pleasant interaction from this guest throughout the time we had the vehicle, we do not wish to continue to do business with her*** Corporate has agreed to give her $to compensate her for her mats, etcWe DID give her copies of all the paperwork at the time she picked up the vehicle including the invoice the Company who owned the high rise paid for her windshield and rental vehicle during the time her vehicle was hereIf the guest wishes to have her vehicle inspected somewhere else, that's her choice at her expense
Thank you for your time in this matter,
Metro Toyota

We are sorry to hear of your complaint. According to the agreement, in order to receive a refund on the warranty, you must keep the vehicle until the warranty has expired. Once expired, you have days to file a claim for refund. If the vehicle is sold, traded, or totaled
prior to the expiration date of the contract, customer would receive a prorated amount of the amount paid for the warranty. The warranty purchased is not due to expire until August 30, 2019.We hope that this makes everything clear

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI have been a loyal customer of Metro Toyota and always have purchased all my Toyota's from thereThe matter of the fact is I did not want to purchase extended warranty as I trade my vehicles every 3-years and the main reason I purchased it was because the Finance Manager informed me that if I do not use the warranty I would get a FULL refund backBy no means he mentioned or disclosed that if I trade the vehicle I get pro-rated amount backThe point of the matter is that it was a bait and switch where not Metro Toyota does not want to honor his mistake of non-disclosure of the warranty and terms and conditionsAs a loyal Toyota customer this is not what I expect from a Dealership especially whom I have done plenty of both New Car business and serviceI cannot go back to the Finance Manager at Metro Toyota as he is no longer with the company per website and speaking with another finance managerIt is very disappointing that Metro Toyota does not want to honor their misinformative mistake on the extended warranty that was made by the Finance ManagerHe sold it and made his commission that day thinking the customer would forget all about his refund after couple years
Regards,

The customer ordered a special vehicle that has been sitting here for over a month.  The vehicle is not a regular Camry, it has every single option possible on it and will be very difficult to sell.  The customer ordered the car and wanted to back out after almost 2 months while Japan was...

in the middle of building it.  It is a non-refundable deposit on special orders.

The cost of the warranty is fully refundable if and only if it is taken to term which is 84 months from the time of purchase or August 30, 2019 and the vehicle is still titled to its original owner.  That is the agreement that was made with the insurance company and with you at the time of delivery.  If at any time prior to that the warranty is canceled, you would receive prorated portion of what was paid for the warranty. If you can indicate to us otherwise, we would be willing to assist.  If you would like, bring in all of your paperwork and we would be happy to go over it with you.
