We have contacted customer and even offered to bring the car to our service department for repairs which she has refused Customer has taken to [redacted] for diagnosis and another shop supposedly at recommendation of the *** Again we are happy and willing to look and and and fix her car to the extent we are requiredWith the customer being unwilling to let us have the car to fix there is unfortunately little else we can do at this time

In response to [redacted] complaint, It was explained to her that we have a ten day policy regarding personal checksShe has called every day screaming and demanding her money backWe did refund the $she put on a credit card and have explained multiple times that the $would be refunded after business daysI explained to [redacted] that calling multiple time everyday to yell would not change our policy but she has chose to continue this actionThe day mark is Tuesday the 21st and her refund will be issued and mailed on the dateFran D***GMOld Saybrook Kia Mazda

This unit was sold safe for the road and DUE TO THE MODEL YEAR AND MILES THE CUSTOMER WAS AWARE AND SIGNED MULTIPLE DOCUMENTS STATING THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Although I bought the car as-is, the car was not in good condition when I bought itMy loan was for over 10KI voluntarily brought the car back because it was no longer safe to drive and every day I drove it I wasn’t sure if I was going to break down on the side of the roadThe finance company took the vehicle back because they knew the dealer sold me a lemon(The finance company is upstairs from the dealership)I was over charged for a vehicle that had extensive safety problems when I took the car into possessionI trusted the dealership to sell me a car to last at least the time to improve my credit and come back and purchase a new vehicleI was taken advantage of because I [redacted] The dealership should pay me back for all of the down payment and payments, plus the balance of the car loanThere are laws against predatory lending in mortgages and the same should be in auto loansI should not have to be a mechanic in order to purchase a carThis dealership took complete advantage of me and my situationThen refused to come to a reasonable compromise Sincerely, [redacted]

*** *** Subject: Re: *** *** We were not aware of any of the issues with the vehicleWe were told that the car was in great conditionAfter I signed all of the paperwork when I got into the vehicle to drive away I noticed the check engine light was on so I mentioned it to bill f* and they said they would handle itAfter hours of me sitting with my two young children one months old and my other newborn they came and told me that the vehicle was ready and when I began to drive onto the highway the traction light came on, the gas smell was very very strong in the vehicle and I was driving with my small childrenThey had manipulated me when I was trying to get a safe vehicle for my childrenI cannot believe that Kia of old Saybrook thought it was okay to sell a vehicle like this to someoneThere should be a law against this, against a dealership selling a vehicle and not telling the customer about ALL the issues with a vehicleThat for selling a vehicle that is the customer should know all of the issues that the vehicle has so that they may then make their decision before signing any documents and driving an hour and a half away with two small kids back home smelling gasThis is just distasteful and not okayThank god I was able to drive home safe and that my children are healthy and okay from begin inside this vehicleSo at the end of the day the result for me is I have a car that I paid $14,for and it has the catalytic converter, The steering angle sensor, gas leak, it shakes when the car is In reverse, and over heatedThis was all thrown onto my lap, I just think that there should be a law against this I have reported them to the *** and now I am working with the *** to see if there is anything I can doIt's wrong that they did this, and that they continue to do this to innocent people

Mr*** came to the dealership and looked at several carsWe priced a *** *** for him that had navigation and a *** that did notHe drove the *** because the *** *** was out of his price rangeAfter several calls to the dealership asking for a better price he came in and
purchased the *** *** drove the car, and was shown the features of the car again on delivery, he understood exactly what equipment the car had and did not haveUnfortunately when a customer focuses on price only they can make mistakesI am willing to install the navigation in *** car at dealer cost of $I consider the matter closed at this point. *** ***General Sales Manager*** *** *** ***

I am rejecting this response because: that is not how the experience went. I told them my credit was not the best they pushed me to run it anyways, I told them please just one hard pull because I've had dealerships do multiple pulls. They claimed they couldn't get me a loan but wanted to lease me the car for dbl the price. When I said they were not being completely helpful and said I wouldn't leave a review they refused to help me!. Then I got home and got an alert that they had checked my credit 8 hard pulls!. So because I have bad credit dealerships can do as many hard pulls as they want to my credit report??!!!!!... I was not rude, I was just not trying to get overcharged and scammed. They did worse and checked my credit 8 times!...how is this business Revdex.com accredited? The business needs to adjust the 8 hard pulls they did to my credit! They only had permission to do one!.

The Dealership does not pull credit 8 times per the customers request we tried to obtain a loan for her. When a loan application is submitted to a bank they look at credit. Even now reading the customers commits the story changes, We were very polite to the customer, and even after we ask her to leave she remained on the property for over 15 minutes saying she was going to file a complaint. That in its self shows the customers actions. As far as the double the price statement by the customer she did not feel she should pay interest, I explained if she was granted a loan it would be a high interest rate based oh her credit history. We did all we could in a professional manner and there is nothing else we can do for this customer. Thank YouFran D[redacted]GMOld Saybrook Kia
