Dear *** ***,As you know we had the largest hail storm in Denver history and sometimes the logistics and related have become a 'burden', that is not to say that we did 'drop the ball' on communication(s). I do apologize for any employee's behavior or less than stellar communication and
performance regarding handling your mother's claim and having the Roof replacedI am listing the activity that my office manager has replied to below:Mrs***'s daughter, *** *** contacted Colorado Continental, regarding Rene Z***, and asked if he had filed for inspectionUpon, reviewing inspection files, I noticed Mrs***'s home had not been set up for a final roof inspection. Appointment for final roof inspection was made same day as speaking with Mrs***. Final roof did not pass final inspection, once inspected. Repairs to roof were completedNext inspection failed for something totally different and when roofers went back they stated it was up to codeI contacted *** ***, from Denver permits and explained to him we need to have a contractor go to home and set up appointmentHe informed me it would be weeks out, I agreed and stated as soon as date was set to contact me. Mrs*** contacted me and stated on a Saturday, an inspector had came to reinspect and failed it again, due to no one being thereI then contacted the inspection line and asked to speak to an inspectorInspector wasn't available therefore, I asked how to proceed with a fee being added to account when we were never contactedShe said I would have to write a letter explaining and it would be sent over for review to get charges reversed, but would take time. Not wanting to prolong situation we paid reinspection fee and it has been on roll over with the County of Denver since December 11, 17.The above was from my office managerBelow is my response: We are obliged to work with the city of Denver and other agencies regarding permits, inspections, follow ups and relatedAt one point the city of Denver was 2+ months out on inspections and everyone was doing all they could to get the work done in a timely manner and working with all parties involvedI spoke with the persons involved in this and have explained that part of our responsibility besides doing the work in the field is to be amiable and courteous to all partiesSo I do apologize for any misunderstanding and am working on completing the final inspectionI was informed that all the work has been completed, inspection has been ordered and I will ensure that this gets taken care of.Feel free to call me on my cell *** ***Thank you,Nick W***Owner - Colorado Continental Roofing & Solar

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I was in touch with Nick the Colorado Continental owner and made an agreement that he will visit the home tomorrow morning 1/13/18 to view the City of Denver's failed inspection report.
