installed in other states Last fall The president of [redacted] was in [redacted] and came to her house to review the system at my request.  He agreed there was some hardware issues and his company would supply all need parts.  I informed the [redacted]’s of the Spring upgrade. This was done in the Spring 2017.  We replaced a few genius heads. Then I came back again and replaced the wifi component.  [redacted] was there on both days.  And agreed it was working well especially after the new wifi went in.  I have had no feed back since.  The grass in the backyard.  When initial contracted,   in the backyard [redacted] wanted grass [redacted] wanted artificial grass due to the dogs killing the grass with urine and feces, its a small area about 15x20. [redacted] got his grass.  The grass was all dead when we got there to start work, the soil smelled of urine especially when we began grading.  No sooner than the sod was laid the acid burns from the 2 or 3 dogs began and in no time the sod was a mess.  [redacted] asked for an estimate for artificial turf, I gave her a rough # and suggested the sprinkler head be left to rinse the turf and chemical treatments are need to deal with urine in artificial grass or the smell would be terrible. This spring 2017 she asked for a written estimate which I supplied. Yes there were I few items I missed.  Adding a light under a tree, removing mulch and adding rock (because of dogs)The Burning bushes - They didn't die all at once.  They were quite healthy.  When they did start to go she called.  I went out there to check they were getting water.  They were from the sprinklers and the dogs.  The base of the plants were rank with uring.  I told her this.  Eventually from right to left the plants died. She wanted them replaced.  When I sent her the estimate for the artificial turf I offered to replace the bushes at a discount, she replied she had no intentions of paying for the plants. She also mention (this is all via email) that the “dogs were only partially at fault for the dead grass, screwed up sprinkler too”.  Drip lines are on a separate system not the “high tech system”.  And drip lines are not on all winter but the dogs still are. Lights, when I was last there [redacted] said the lights were working If I misunderstood I will check the lights.  If the lights are not working because of Colorado Deck, no charge.  If it is because of dogs, a popped breaker or being unplugged I reserve the right to charge a trip charge. The waterfall - there is no water fall there is a small self contained fountain.  I can not speak to dead plants around it or a drainage pipe as this is the first i’m hearing about it. Hydraulic fluid - a mini skid steer leaked some fluid (oil) in the sod area that soil was removed.  It wasn't much.  My Attitude? - Im very sorry [redacted] feels this way.  Every time I have seen her our conversation is cordial or better and she is happy.  Most of our communication however has been via email, “condescending and demeaning” are strong words and implies we have had arguments, or I have treated her badly which we flat out have not. Im not sure where this comes from but I am sorry of thats how she feels.  Yes time spent with [redacted] (hes the one thats around during the day) Has been pleasant and respectful.Colorado Deck and Landscape has been in business 33 yrs. As I said in one of my emails when [redacted] was threatening me.  I’m not going anywhere we are in communication, much of the communication involved scheduling a time when someone could be home. I am willing to work with, compromise, negotiate within reason of course to resolve this matter.
