Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Colorado Engine has stated that the transmission was destroyed and would not move under its own power when I returned it to them This is categorically false When I brought the transmission back to Colorado Engine it has lost the reverse gear and first gear, I drove the truck to the shop however completely under its own power and I have witnesses Colorado Engine has claimed that the transmission only came with a year warranty, this is also false, they quoted me a year warranty on this transmission, and it was a main driving factor in me choosing them for the rebuild Colorado Engine has claimed that the transmission failed from 'extreme abuse’, this is another outright and offensive lie Colorado Engine actually told me they found exactly the opposite when they opened this transmission up This transmission has not incurred any abuse whatsoever, it's been babied in the extreme, and has almost exclusively been used to drive the vehicle back and forth from Colorado Engine and to work for test drives Colorado Engine also told me that the rebuild was in fact going to be fixed under warranty after they discussed it with the manufacturer (and is stated as such on the receipt), this was of course yet another lie as they actually sent the vehicle over to [redacted] to be rebuilt Colorado Engine claims the transmission was built to the same specs, it was not, and I would like to see those specs as well Colorado Engine has stated that the vehicle is being driven daily, this is insane, and we’re going to take a very careful look at the mileage that has been put on this vehicle since I first brought it to Colorado Engine when we find ourselves in the courtroomI find it quite difficult to believe the level of dishonesty being employed by Colorado Engine, it is shameful and I am outraged by every last bit of it No business should ever be permitted to conduct itself in such a disgraceful fashion In my dealings with Colorado Engine they have been disregarding of truth, lacking accountability, and integrity wasn’t even an after-thought I will be consulting legal counsel in the coming days and I have every intention of filing suit against Colorado Engine regardless of the costs incurred personally You picked the wrong guy to tell lies about Colorado Engine and you will be taken to task for it in court Sincerely, [redacted]
