I recently enrolled in CTU's MBA programThe instructional method used is quite conducive to learning -- only one concentrated 1/week class is taken at a time, but it is equivalent to a week class in terms of the amount of material coveredThe business classes I have taken so far employ a computerized learning system called Intellipath which I have found to be a useful learning toolLive chats with the professors and other students have been productive, tech support has been helpful and timely, and the administration office has been readily availableI believe that most, if not all, for-profit colleges and universities, just like corporations, want to make the highest net profit they canWhen organizations handle large amounts of money, there is a possibility that some kind of financial riffraff will take placeThere are, however, guidelines and regulations in place to monitor for-profit organizations

I entered my BS degreeI have been fighting with CTU online for at least one yearThey made me take Algebra coursesI knew nothing about algebraNever had it in schoolAnd now , they are asking for my 16-FASFA and I can't log into itI have tried times to fix itThe Financial Aide (military) department refuses to help me saying they can't enter information on my FASFA because it is illegalThere are two minor errors to fix and they will not helpSo, I have no stipend money coming to me and the college does not careI would strongly recommend that you find another proactive college that will help you with your FA issuesI am going to find another collegeCan anyone help me with this?

I was accepted to CTU (online) at the beginning of this year and planned to start classes in June or July I decided not to since the aid I was granted did not cover the full cost of tuition and I had no way to pay for the remaining portionI couldn't even find any banks that listed CTU under their student loan programs (red flag!)Long story short, I ended up emailing my admissions counselor and withdrawing my applicationI'm continuously getting calls from CTU, some from IL and some even have numbers that seem to be based in WII've blocked most of the numbersNow, I'm getting emailedI've called back and stated SEVERAL times that I do NOT wish to be on their call or email list"Sorry, ma'am, we'll remove you from the list." and then I get a call or email within the next hoursThis is borderline harassment

While I was on active duty in the Air Force, I attempted to attend CTU using my montgomery GI Bill It was a mistake While working more than full time, I failed to keep up with my classes My montgomery GI bill did not pay for them and now I owe the school $2600+ which is now at collections I recently separated from the military, am unemployed, and trying to use my Post 9/GI Bill to attend my local university full time That would be my only source of income at the moment I contacted student accounts at CTU and explained to them that I can begin paying the debt back if I am able to use my post 9/GI Bill which will give me a monthly stipend The school will not release my transcript to ***, where I'm planning to attend because of the debt Therefore I can't use my Post 9/to attend as a degree seeking student I said that I could begin paying them if they will release my transcript Their response was "there's nothing we can do." They will not work with me at all

This So called university has repeatedly created financial burden on me requiring me to stay enrolled to pay off a balance that never seems to endNow I am out of funds for my education and unable to pay what they say I owe to clear my accountIt started with them returning my federal aid when I withdrew from school in the first week of classThen they charged me for the full tuition for classes that I never attended at allWhen I started CTU I was told that tuition was pro-rated for the time spent in timeif you cancel in the first week then it is 0% of the tuition due, in the second week % of tuition was dueAfter signing the paymenbt agreement with them to return to school I paid all of the agreement and now they want me to pay an additional dollarsI intend to file a lawsuit to recover any funds that hey mis appropriated from me

I have attended this school for months now and have yet to receive my pell grantThey have messed up my gi bill benefits for over a month now and I have tried to transfer schools but their credits don't transferDon't go here if you are militaryIt's a waste of your benefits

Students beware of this schoolThis school decided to charge me a tech fee after I had to drop my classesI had to drop as a student for fiscal year because I used the cap of dollars awarded per employeeNow that I am past due days they sent this so called tech fee (mafia shake down) was sent to collectionsI will be contacting an attorney about this problem

I decided to opt out of online classes at Colorado Technical University because I could afford the online classesNor did I appreciate the stress involved to get the
pre enrollment completed in a very short timeI was informed by Kevin *** that
the school would not reimburse for $I spent having my educational documents
faxed to the school from Office Depot close to where I liveI informed Mr*** that I had sent two requests to the school to tell the school to refund me for the amount of $I told Mr*** that I needed the $for my basic cost of living; rent, medication, and foodMy banking situation is very bleakthe $would be put to good use

My time I have been enrolled all the people and Prof and staff has been wonderful to me and my family

I went to Colorado Technical University from to In that time they canceled my degree plan twice forcing me the first time to start over in a new degree path Waching the debt rack up on Nelnet (the government loans) I fought after the canceled the second one to graduate by taking more classes After graduating I found out that not only was there that debt but the other debt with another government agency totaling $70,for the single degree that should be There was also an additional $that they held as a debt since the charged the max that the government loans allow That went to collections, I got a letter on a payment offer that if I pay half it would close out the accout The credit agency is now telling me months later that the day I they cased the check Colorado Technical University decided that was not enough and is asking for more to satisfy it Now CTU will not talk with the Collections company and I have been in limbo with a bad mark on my credit

CTU is a school that I would not recomend to anyone to attend They tend to lie about the amounts owed and about student loans The get a person in school and take all their finacial aid and if that person does not want the loans which are very high, they withdraw the student with penalty which is wrong

I attended CTU and received an Associates in AccountingI continued to finish school and get my bachelorsI was told numerous times I would graduate by Jun When graduation time came And I had passed all my classes, I was told I would not be graduatingDuring this time I was enrolled in numerous classes I did not needHowever the counselor I had told me it would be ok that I needed the classes for extra credit hoursI did not feel this was ok but was promised I would graduateDuring this time I could not find a job using the associates degree The lady I had spoken to was no longer there for me to speak too because I was told she was firedI was also in some classes that I had classmates as teachersBeing upset at graduation time I did not return the next semesterI did return and discuss this with the Dean who granted me a couple free classes to graduateThey decided I needed more credit hours and a crap ton of moneyThey were sorry they could not offer me the clas

I graduated from Colorado Technical University in December of with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal JusticeI have found that employable utilizing this credential not to be marketable within the communityI find that the quality of education that I received from this institution to be lackingIs there a program for financial aid loan forgiveness or a class action suit that has started against this tuitionI have been to the website that contains job listings for students these job you don't need a degree forI find that I am strapped with a large student loan debt and nothing to show for it i.eincome derived from this educationThe school doesn't offer value for the money spentYou also didn't transfer in previous education that should count here which cost more money for the student for tuition

I began at CTU in July I obtained my AssocDegree in December of The Professors/Instructors are awesome as well as my Student Advisors I re-entered CTU the same month I graduated to obtain my Bachelor's Degree In December of I was withdrawn from class for lack of attendance, which at that time I was working two jobs I immediately started again in Feb2016...that's when all hell broke loose
Upon returning, I was informed of the re-payment plan assessed on me due to the withdrawal in December I was informed of the initial $(one time only) which would come out of the first distributions of my loans A monthly payment of $and that all of the Educational Alliance Grants I would not receive, $ I asked at that point could the money be taken out of my stipend I was told, "No", it would not interfere with any of my stipends I paid all monies assessed to me except for payments of the $due to me being unemployed The end of October I was informed that I reached the cap on my loans and would have to pay cash, of course I could not pay $1,plus, therefore I spoke to my Student Advisor and came to the decision to withdraw It was explored and explained to me per my student advisor that withdrawing at the end of the class would be fine, the class had been paid and I would not owe anything Looking at my account, I had a credit of $1009.60, speaking with a representative in FA, I was also informed that once the monies I still owed, ($plus) will be taken, I would receive whatever is left over
As of today, 11/26/16, my account shows a balance of $ 1,150.98, which is the exact amount I was paying on from December I also noticed that on 11/17/a refund of $1010.00, my (DIRUNSUB) was returned to the loan company, which is what I was told by a FA representative I contacted the loan company and was informed they had received no refunds on my account
Contacting FA, I asked how can there be a refund going back to the loan company if I reached the cap and was not eligible for anymore loansShe stated this was from December 2015...again I explained to her the payment plan...she ignored me and hung up in my face
I have the right to know about every charge, credit and payment on my account being that I have to pay it back When you call them, most are rude and very unprofessional and they never answer your questions Please don't email them, you will never get a responseI also asked about the award letters and why was the monies I was to receive in 9/26/was taken in 8/24/16, again a rep from FA informed me the award letters are not always correct
How can you double charge me for one class? Or are you trying to tell me that one class cost $2,
CTU, you would be an excellent school to attend....but your Financial Aid Department, makes you the worst
I will be calling *** to further investigate all of these so say refunds

Someone using the phone number [redacted] stating theyre from Colorado Technical University called me saturday august 16 and I had asked them not to call me on a weekend. I received another call that day, I asked them to take me off your list, and another call came in that night-I couldnt get a live person but was able to leave a message stating that I have asked for my number to be taken of their list. Today, Sunday August 17 at 2:25 pm I received another call. Again I asked to be taken off their list a few times now and to stop calling me. I am sending this message to every listing of Colorado Technical University listed on Revdex.com.org.

I'm currently enrolled in another University and I saw an ad online about their Fast Track program and I submitted a request to get their brochure. Well be prepared for non-stop phone calls, as in like 4/day. I finally answered and told them to send me an email as I was walking in to a meeting and they said they don't do email (that's real cutting edge technology) and that they only had a few questions so I answered it and as they were handing me off to admissions I hung up. I didn't have time. I stopped answering the calls as I assumed they would eventually stop. Nope! I finally answer again and told them to quit calling me and that they were harassing me and that I didn't appreciate all the calls. After going in circles a couple times I told them to stop calling me period. Which did seem to work. I made contact with my advisor at my current school and he informed me, "I have a fax from CTU requesting loan info." I hardly had any communication with CTU, let alone letting them get my loan information from my current school. That's definitely not a school I want to be a part of.
