I gave *** *** a consultation which included extensive and detailed information about her travels overseas I also provided two prescriptions for her during that consultation I told her that this service would cost her $ She then said that she would like to
schedule an appointment for December for a *** * vaccine She would only be in town for about a week When I spoke with her on the phone, she seemed unsure about whether she would make this appointment I told her that she would pay at the time of service The appointment was never confirmed and she was never charged for the appointment When she demanded a refund of $for the initial consultation, I acquiesced, refunding her $ ($less because of the credit card transaction fees) even though I had provided this service to her, a service which most physicians would charge ~$ I spent hours with her, but I still refunded her because of the miscommuniction In the end, she received an extensive consultation and prescriptions for $I never charged her for the missed appointment on December 27th
