Review: Well this complaint started months ago. I reluctantly rented a samsung smart tv 50 inch with my boyfriend in April 2013. It's supposed to have a special remote that was missing at the time. I was told that they would do one of the following:1. Get a remote from another RAC 2. Order me a new remote from Samsung. Months went by, about 3 to be exact. Every time I called the store it was like they never knew about it. I asked to speak to managers and every time it was a different name. I finally spoke to one guy who said he was sorry and he would get me a remote and for me to "not pay" until I got the remote. (I couldn't utilize the tv without the correct remote) Finally at the end of June, almost 3 months later, a delivery guy brought my remote. In the meantime I got harassed by various store employees. They call you every day more than once a day to remind you to may a payment. They charge you $2 extra to pay over the phone, to pay online which is what I asked to do, they have to set you up, again this took about 4 months to do. I was told that during the time I was told not to pay that I was given what they call "help" but no one ever told me about any policies or anything that was happening to my account. They harassed me at work daily till I called the corporate office. They new store mgr called me at work, I asked her at my desk not to call again and I would be in touch with them, I hung up and she immediately called me again; within seconds. Its now 11/30 and I was 1 week late on my payment of $75.10, there was a knock on the door tonight and my BF said they were downstairs. MY landlord called and said they were calling the cops.. for what? I've had the TV since 4/13 and even if I'm late I pay all fees. Your going to harass me for $75? If I could get all the money I've spent I would tell them where to put this TV!! I want something done. I've already spoken to the area manager and he was supposed to do something with them. They are the most ghetto unprofessional people I've ever seen.Desired Settlement: I want someone from Corporate to handle this. This is how paying customers are treated? I work at a dental office on Wall St, where people owe thousands of $$ and we don't call them every day 2x per day. Your kidding me right? I"ve worked in retail for over 20 years and now dental for 10, this place has the worst customer service ever. If I owed RAC $200 then I can see harassment.. but REALLY????? I can show phone records for how much they call me.
