Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Mr [redacted] lied in his responseWeeks ago, when costs were escalating, I told him that I no longer wanted his crew to make the repairs that they didn't make when they were supposed to, and he agreed to apply the amount to the baseboardsWhen his team showed up on Janwith the wrong baseboard style, I contacted Mr [redacted] via text, he called me, did not apologize, and instead started yelling at me on the phone and blamed it on me, even though I had told him weeks before that I changed my choice of baseboard style and sent him the new style numbersAfter he finished yelling, I told him that if they couldn't come back during the week to start the install and if I had to wait until the following Saturday (he told me about a week and a half prior that he could only work on my job on two Saturdays - the 20th and 27th) that I would find someone else to finish the job (baseboards, casings, doors)His response was to say, "Okay, we'll finish all the touch-ups today and then you can find someone else to finish the job." Mr***' list of outstanding repairs does not include the caulking/silicone that wasn't done around two doors or the caulking that wasn't done around the kitchen sinkThat time should be added to the hrsthat he claims is all it would take to do the repairs that they didn't doI have a text from him telling me to deduct $for the TV mount that I asked his painters to put downstairs where I would re-use itI never told them to throw it away.Mr [redacted] is welcome to drive the trash can over at his convenience and leave it outside my front door, but as I told him weeks ago, I do not want him making any more repairs at my home.I do not believe it would only take $worth of his crew's time to make the outstanding repairs, but I am willing to accept a check for $and put this episode behind meI would prefer that Mr [redacted] mail the checkOnce it has cleared and I have the trash can and determine it is in good conditionI will advise the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted] ***

Dear
Sirs:
"Arial","sans-serif";">
Mrs. [redacted]
and I had an agreement to paint the interior of her home.  This included
installing new baseboards and installing door casings.  We completed the
painting portion as agreed.
During
the beginning phase of the painting portion, Mrs. [redacted] asked us to remove some
outlets, and a wall-mounting bracket and wires. We did this and included the work in
her estimate..  She did not request us to keep the wall mount.  As the
wall mount did not have all required parts to mount a T.V., we threw it away
with other job related waste.
With
regards to the handyman items, we repaired the majority of these items during
the painting portion of the job.  We had a few Items left to do and I
explained to Mrs. [redacted] that we would take care of these items during the
baseboard installation. She agreed with this.  The remaining items to do
were as follows:
1.
Caulk around bathroom tub
2.
Repair small crack with sand grout
3.
Install weather stripping on two door frames
4.
Repair small drawer
When
we showed up to install the baseboards, it was determined that we had purchased the
wrong profile baseboards. I apologized to Mrs. [redacted] and explained that we
would reschedule the installation of the baseboards for the following Saturday.
At that point she said she could not wait until then and said that she would
have to get another contractor to finish the job.  From there, we preceded
to complete all touch up from the painting portion of the job.  As a
result of her request to hire another contractor, items 1-4 above were not
addressed.
In
regards to the amount of refund I owe to Mrs. [redacted], I offer to pay $12.50
for the wall mount.  This figure is based wall mounts being valued
at $25.00 brand new.  The wall mount that was disposed of was
used, and inoperable.
As
relates to the trash can referenced in her complaint, we
inadvertently took the trash can (plastic) from the job site. Her trash
can is still in my possession.  I will deliver this item to her, at her convenience.
With
regards to remaining repairs, I agree to refund Mrs. [redacted] credit in the amount
of $60.00. This amount is based upon the value/cost of doing the remaining
work. 1.45 hrs.
Total
amount of payment I will make to Mrs. [redacted] is $72.50.
I am happy to schedule a time and date to complete Items 1-4 with Mrs. [redacted].
