I am forwarding my last email which states I am willing to give her a refund on her car that's how we do itI don't understand how she can think I'm not willing to give her her money backThere has never been a mention of sending a refund through the mailSorry for any misunderstanding.---------- Forwarded message ----------From: "*** *** ***Date: Aug 16, 5:PMSubject: ***To: "*** *** ***Cc: Our refund policy is return of jewelry and a refund in the original form of paymentI have agreed the jewelry did not need to be returned but refund must be made to the bank card usedSorry that the Revdex.com Representative misinformed Sarah that a refund would be mailed, that was never discussed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
As previously mentioned, I do not feel comfortable going into the location anymoreI've had harassing messages sent to me from Colourbox clients, and I've heard enough from others who have been slighted by the business, that it's best to stay away at all costs after anything negative has happenedI've ignored everything as I would prefer to move on, but I do not feel safe going in there I will accept a check (or money order/cash/etc) from the business, but I will absolutely not step foot in there The card used was a Visa and was ran through as a credit card Again, it's not an option to go in when businesses are able to send checks from their business accounts I'm losing out on the cost of all the jewelry replacements, my doctors co-pay as well as prescription costs I'm very appreciative of the piercing refund, but for safety's sake, I'm requesting the refund be mailed I will not put myself through more than I've already dealt with Please understand where I am coming from as I've been through enough- the business itself has blocked me on their social media pages- it's obviously not a good environment to be putting myself in Thank you for understanding, as I do not wish to take this to smalls claims court, but I absolutely will if it can't be resolved through a reasonable refund method
Regards,

Thanks for getting a hold of use regarding this concern. In over years of business we have always prided ourselves on our customer service and professionalism when dealing with the our clients. I have been working with this client since May 24, I Will attach copies of our communications
which were terminated by the client when she blocked Colourbox on Facebook and strangely my personal Facebook as wellI say strangely because I have never had, to my knowledge a personal connection to the client. As stated in the complaint the customer came in and received piercings at which time she signed a standard release form (attached) and was given oral and written aftercare instructions (attached). The client stated that the piercer had trouble getting the jewelry throughAfter talking to the original piercer it has been determined that it was in fact trouble placing the ball in the captive bead ring, not inserting the jewelry. The client stated that when she was leaving the shop she was given some information about the hoop size, indeed she wasEveryone is told that if they swell up too much and they feel that the jewelry is too small to come back and we can take care of itThere is a fine line between too big or too small jewelryThat's why every client is assured we are here if they need usWe have no control of how a body reacts to a perceived injury. I'm sorry that she felt she was getting the runaround but as you can see by the facebook messages (attached) we responded to every concern in a timely fashion and tried to give as much help as possible. The customer also talks about terminology, as it states on our website and on the Facebook page the term keloid is just a general term that is used because if people "Google" the word they'll get information on how to take care of hypertrophic scarring which is in some cases what they are experiencing It's unfortunate that doctors feel the need to prescribe antibiotics for a localized infection, being an RN I see it all too muchWithout a culture being done a broad spectrum antibiotic is given and the patient sent homeI doubt that the statement "my doctor confirmed.......so it looks like the person getting the piercing is at fault" is factual. As you can see by the messages the client said she was happy to pay to have us change them....when she came in to have them changed there was a misunderstanding with messages and she may have gotten charged for the jewelry and not the service because, like I told her, there can be misunderstandings with this type of communication. As far as the shop helper telling her that we were using hoops that were too small, I feel the misunderstanding came from the fact that we let people know that if they get pierced with too small of a hoop it can cause problems. We warn everyone that hypertrophic scarring and/or keloids are possible with any piercing especially the DaithLike I said before there is a fine line between too big and too small. We can not control how people take care of their piercings, how they heal, their inflammatory response or if they contaminate home remedies like tea tree oilI was helping the client right up to the point that she blocked us and filed a complaint.I am sorry the client feels she deserves refund after stating she would "gladly" pay for it but that aside if she would have TALKED to me this all could have been resolved and a doctors visit avoided. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]From the recommendation of my doctor, I had both piercings removed. When I had them taken out, I shared with an acquaintance that works with metals the "titanium" that was used. Titanium is a strong metal, and he was able to simply twist the jewelry and break it apart. What he found was nickel powder on the inside, meaning I was not sold or given piercing grade titanium. My ear got worse after they had put the "titanium" in and now I completely understand why it was only getting worse. The reason the right side of my ear wasn't as bad was because I found out they charged me for titanium, but only used a larger surgical steel hoop instead, leaving my aftercare display as being properly handled while my left ear had a discolored and suddenly textured hoop grating through my ear that was supposed to be healing.  Their fake jewelry literally made everything worse and caused my trip to the doctor.I blocked the owners personal page because she would not stop contacting me and asking to talk in person. If you own a business page, it's typically attached to the business owners account. In my "blocking", I had already decided to go through the Revdex.com and needed to stop communication in general. After doing so, the owner had a complete stranger contact me about the issue, sending me a message as well, so I blocked that account as I do not need a total stranger in my personal business. What the shop help told me was completely accurate. She looked physically concerned when she saw my ear which is what prompted her to tell me that many other people have had problems with the shop using jewelry that was too small.ive been getting piercings from Colourbox since I was 18 years old. Never have I had a problem so severe I needed to seek help from a physician and be treated so poorly by the staff. [redacted] has not been at the shop any of the times I have gone in during the past year, so there is no RN on site (while I was present)  that is proclaimed. I offered to pay because I believe in being the better person. I don't believe a business should allow a customer to pay for services they know they are at fault for. Placing a cheap titanium substitute in my ear, was completely under their knowledge.I don't believe I'm in the wrong for asking for the refund when all of this information came to light. I was charged more for products falsely labeled, then charged more for surgical steel instead of what should have been titanium. I've used titanium, professional grade, in many other piercings and they have NEVER discolored and changed texture. They are also nearly impossible to bend or break- all of which was done by hand with Colourbox's jewelry. If I believed I was in the wrong, I would not have taken this step, but when people come forward talking about their infections from Colourbox, as well, then something needs to be done. The attached photos will show you the before and after with the titanium, as well as the right ear which did not have titanium (though it is what I paid for by recommendation from the shop owner).
Regards,
